• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I'd say I'm a veteran :D iv played for around 10-12 months

Well Rooseus I am sure that you are aware of recent events. There is a faction that goes by the name of Magnanimus. Recently it has been reformed, and apparently is stronger than ever. Shortly after their reformation Magnanimus decided to attack 9th Legion. It was at this moment that we realized it is time to put our differences aside. We decided to come together with other veteran factions to fight the imposters, and usurpers of Aloria. Magnanimus will not be allowed to abrasively disregard, disrespect, and undermine the veteran factions of this server. Never has such a fusion of sheer power been seen in Aloria. The purpose of this video is to show solidarity amongst us, veterans.

You know Mag reformed because 9th ASKED to be attacked and stole/greifed them right?
 
This video makes me want to set up the MassiveCraft Media group and work with them to release more awesome shit.

I am slightly confused about some of the wording in the video though, some of it almost sounded insurgent.
 
This war went too far, I think there is much more now then two sides, much more then Magnanimus and Solaris, much more then enemy and ally. This war is silly, and has no sence anymore. If you ask me, If I would be admind, I would stop this madness.

What are you talking about? There is no Solaris... that, and the war has been over for nearly two months.. All of these factions came together for the defense of 9th Legion.
 
Im about 6 months old... and still know all of these places... :D
 
Only being here a year, I'm not sure I can say I am veteran... I think a veteran isn't just to do with time, but if you were an active part of the community in that time, if you rose above the "commoners" and were well known. Whether I'm (or others) are veterans is really only something other people can answer...

But Grixer, regardless of whatever political shenanigans you have behind this video concerning Mag, it was a lovely video and will draw many to this chaotic but lovely community. Well done.

Must you turn everything political or war related? Did you not read the title of this thread? Did it say anything anywhere about war anywhere? Dam.. just keep stuff in it's correct thread. If you want to spout more Solaris/Imperial crap, go make a thread.

It wasn't a reference to that, it was moreso a reference to the fact that the words don't describe who the message is aimed at. I don't know anything about the mag versus 9thlegion thing, so when I heard the text, I thought it was aimed against the server staff.

If the true intention of this video was an alliance banded together against Magnanimus, why didn't you just come out and say it? Instead you let Valyria's spokesperson come along and give us the details. Stop speaking in riddles and just get on with it. I did read what I responded to, which was all about war and political crap, when our reasons are much more simple. Here is Valyria, yet again, trying to start some big war we all don't need. An entire war could be avoided, if you only knew the details from both sides.(facepalm)

Listen. I don't care about some war you want to create with propaganda, and I don't care what you think of me and my faction. The issue is between me and 9th legion, not you and your veteran squad. I asked countless times that they remove the Valorian trophy from the embassy. It was embarrassing, and leaving it there is no way to treat your allies. I haven't declared war on 9th, I attacked once because they disrespected us by keeping that trophy there and ignoring me.. much like your "stack of logs from Argos." I didn't even plan on coming back. Then when Grid looted by abusing the Magnanimus ally build rights, that's when we legitimately attacked 9th with force. I would hope you'd do the same thing. We have every justification to do what we did. We're not out attacking other factions, so no one needs to worry about us acting like "oppressors."

Officially, we reformed because a long standing ally of ours went overboard and looted our faction. And of course.. we can never just have a war between us and our enemies. Alamut and Valyria always have to disrespect us and include themselves. I'm getting sick of it, and frankly it's old to the point where I'm losing interest in playing anymore. You're always trying to take the enjoyment out of everything Magnanimus does, and it's just going to be the same old war. I have been very respectful to Alamut and Invictus in the last couple months, but it seems no matter what I do, I get them allying factions just to fight us, overboard forum posts, and videos thrown in my face like I'm trying to take over the server. Not everyone is here to solely pvp. I would like to enjoy some of the other aspects here as well.

It doesn't matter what you guys say or do to try and make us out to be a terrible faction. Anyone that knows me, will tell you that I'm not out looking for war, and that I am very kind and respectful to those who show me the same measure of respect.

Let's not turn this into a flame war. Valyria starting a big war? No Valyria, along with many other factions is simply helping 9th Legion, a fellow veteran faction defend themselves. This is what the video is about. An entire war could have been avoided? This war already started when Magnanimus reformed and started raiding 9th Legion. At this point nobody was involved except 9th Legion and Magnanimus. So instead of diplomacy they chose the path of war, thus they "Awoke the Sleeping Giant" (as highlighted by Tom1804 in global chat). It is irrelevant what kindled this war, I doubt Magnanimus even bothered to give diplomacy a chance as they have a history of doing this. If you should blame anyone you should blame Magnanimus. You're talking as if Valyria went and attacked Magnanimus. We did not, matter of fact we showed up to 9th Legion once for about have an hour to defend throughout this whole ordeal. We as a collective saw a fellow veteran faction in need, threw our squabbles aside, and looked at things as a big picture. It is as simple as that. If Magnanimus truly wants peace, they should seek peace rather than raid 9th Legion.

Magnanimus does indeed have veteran members, but it is not a veteran faction.

Right. You are a man of peace. This is why Tom1804, you, and about eight more of your cronies attacked Valyria a few weeks ago, when for the past three months Valyria has sat silent building. Upon Grixer's return you attack Valyria yet again. But no. You're right you are the epitome of peace. Then you go and try to "respect" Alamut, with whom we've been allies for nearly a year now, but completely fail to make any peace arrangement with us? What do you expect happens? You really want lasting peace? You have to sit down with everyone involved, not with one faction and hope the rest follow suit (if it is actually peace you want).

I have no intention of turning this into a flame war. I just wish Valyria would butt out of fights that aren't their own. Like Spectec said, our intentions are not wars and such. 9thlegion escalated this situation by ignoring Spectec's request, and then going to the extent to loot the Magnanimus base, which was uncalled for. 9thlegion are the one's that insulted, disrespected, and abused Magnanimus/Valorian, yet we are made out as the bad guys, that must be stopped. So please, Valyria, Alamut, Invictus, and all others, stand aside in this fight, or be dragged down with 9th. They must pay for wronging Valorian and Magnanimus.
 
@ Spectec Did you forget the first thing you did on the day I came back to MassiveCraft? I'm pretty sure you showed up to Valyria and attacked without reason. Have you forgotten the bad decisions you have made in the past, such as welcoming in members of Invictus in total disregard of FHFDoom? Have you forgotten all the disrespect you have shown to Lady Gwen of Osai? Did you forget telling Valyria and Alamut in TS that you were building Mag just to fight us?

I've been here almost a year and a half but I have no idea what the city with the Red and Yellow flags is.

You were enemied. Inviting friends of mine to my faction wasn't a bad decision. I have been very nice to Gwen. And that's not what I said in TS.

You're right. I am wasting my time. Have fun massive. I'm pretty much done playing a game that has people like you in it anyways.
