• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Thoughts On This Building Idea?

Will mods tear this thing down cause it ain't medieval enough?

I like to build big things. Really big things. Been burned before cause they weren't medieval enough, so because i have a school job where I sit and do nothing for hours at a time I figured I'd just throw this out there and see if I should even bother building it. This building but on a much larger scale with some different style blocks. I've racked my brain trying to come up with some kind of ancient looking mega structure that I could build and not have deleted by mods. Minecraft 1.12.2 1_30_2018 1_54_02 PM.png

The design could use improvements, though since this is only a small scale model, it's hard to judge. I feel the best way to improve your design is by adding pillars or ledges. I would suggest looking up images of medieval builds or even studying some of the builds on this server to see how intricate designs and details are done. Avoid making it too plain, avoid simple flat walls that are entirely the same block.

As far as the rules go, this is currently what is stated:
  • Do not build overly non-medieval builds.
  • Do not build a box-structure or something equally uncreative.
I don't think your build would be overly non-medieval, but it does almost start to cross into the second one, especially if you plan to build it on a much larger scale.

I've seen fighter jets and submarines in some factions territory. Build rules are still enforced but I doubt this build will be criticized before others.

Some say uncreative some say minimalism lol

What I've found that helps with builds is layers. That design you have there could be a good first layer, now just add some more lines made up of different blocks (pillars and ledges work wonders). My recommendation is use some dark wood. Maybe add some moss stone and torches, a few statues, an overhanging porch, and some windows as well. Here's a slightly modified base build of your buildings with added additions and interior for an example of what you could do with it.
