The Mekket

I was unsure where to put this, as it's somewhat related to the lore but there was no place to put it, but it seems that the mekket (now the circci) race idea has been stolen by someone from here:http://s15.zetaboards.com/The_Frontier_RP/topic/8442024/1/.Not sure what to do about this, just thought that I should bring it to the attention of someone.

Mekett were written before this. There's even a quote from this page.

"Before I am sued, the Stirrin was originally made by Massive-craft for the Mekett race.
As a previous lover of both, i wanted a vague sense of what they had.

Except they got sword-whip-hook things... so our Stirrins are just bendy fishing poles of doom XD"

And that player, dsthesecond, was once a Massivecraft Mekett roleplayer. If anyone stole it, it was ds, who took it from here and translated it with minor changes and sloppy conversion over to what appears to be a Starbound RP.

not 100% carbon copy imo but heavy influence is drawn

• communal style "A lack of heavy law and crime is made up for the universally mutual urge to shop and sell goods and services."
• selfish but with the race "society is balanced literally by the ability for any member to gain and give as much as they can."
• stirrin "The Stirrin: A stiff yet flexible piece of plant fiber, usually treated with a waxy brown coating"
• poor eyesight " lack in marksmanship due to their eye structure. "
• claws "Claws: Fused to fingers"
• language "Language and communication is traded through the rapid change of tone and amount of clicks through their vocal pipe."

Indeed. At least he gave credit. He and I were among the OG Mekett RPers, before I saw more potential elsewhere and moved on. I believe you did interact with ds and I occasionally IC. And, aside from some spelling changes, it's basically 100% identical. What he's calling lore is what we used to have on the wiki, essentially.
