• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Right folks so I'll start off by saying not sure if I have this in the right area, but if not my mistake. Personally I don't understand what makes massive restore tick, but in theory if I have understood it correctly, if the map is being replaced by a fresh copy every couple of weeks, well now every couple of months, there must be somewhere in this file of data a copy of the map pre massive restore?? If this is the case and it would be feasible, could this be released to the public for a sum of money and for prosterity sake??

Ps doing this off the phone, so apologies for it being clumped together

How it works is basically in the plugin files there is a copy of the map file that is pure. Like right when it was released. That's how it knows what to make each chunk look like.

Worldedit actually has a very similar thing except it's not automatic and our version can randomize the ores

It would be kind of cool to have the clean versions of discontinued maps be available when they are finally removed. Since they aren't actively being used any more at that point, but I think some people might like to have them for memories.
