Introduction
The Silvertongue family, an ailor translation of a formerly nelfin name, is publicly known as an ambitious devoutly loyal family to the Regalian Empire in control of several wealthy trade routes, a number of published textbooks and writings, and having a great emphasis on connections within the Empire. Ambition is nurtured within its family; with a heavy encouragement towards directly assisting the Empire through governmental positions, or public displays of assistance. Whilst generous towards the Empire, it is considered practically criminal by those of the family to make a poor deal, and charity without goal only serves to stop you from better helping the Empire in the future more effectively.
Theme
The family is Maquixtl, with Altalar and Ailor blood muddying its waters more and more the further that one progresses up the family tree. They garner their wealth through both legitimate and illegitimate deals, traversing a line that teeters between lawful and unlawful behaviour whilst carefully outmanoeuvring public perception. Avoiding the common trope of thug beats up easy to defeat random person and takes money or bullies for the sake of seeming/feeling powerful - The Silvertongue family and subsequent Goldenrule Society business focus on subtler crime. Working alongside criminal businesses within the city, creating relationships with purveyors of armaments, hiring mercenaries, obtaining information and more. All, however, for the sake of the Empire and their family.
The family is extremely loyal to the Empire above all else.
Wealth
They have retained their appointed titles and land through ruthless business - using what forces they have to maintain prominent trade routes that they gatekeep from the many migrants that would attempt to obtain a piece of this 'action' that sees them so successful. As well as supporting their lands and feudal monarchy superiors within the Regalian Substate. Publicly they primarily trade Exotic goods and now more recently rare minerals and jewellery. However, they have also most recently conjured a deep-rooted connection with Daen Governorates of the Cortes and Orbrero families whom Yera has formed ties with utilising their control of certain trade routes within Lusits. They now make a sizeable portion of wealth from transporting contraband and providing other services for them and the Balizas de Fuego militias that have pledged to aid them - although obviously this is not publicly known.

Countess; Yera is the holder of the Countess title afforded to the Silvertongue family.
Head of Overt Operations for the Ministry of Information; Yera currently holds this position.
Counsellor & Benefactor of the Ministry of Truth; Yera currently holds this position.
How do I join?
New family members can join by applying in this thread! Follow the template below. Your character cannot be a direct child of Yera, but can be a brother, sister or more ideally a nephew/niece. Those who are considered nephew's/nieces are that which are in line for succession after Yera's passing, and further direct children should they ever exist, will take the priority succession places, but not entirely rule out the nephews and nieces.
We're a new family still, looking to rack up as many accomplishments and accolades to leave a substantial history behind. Interacting with various other families, and organisations and completing war campaigns etc. This will be our hall of accolades, so to speak, where our members will have their triumphs brazenly stamped for all to see.
