A notice was put up within the Citadel:
SEEKING HIGH RANKING MEMBERS OF EITHER A CHARTER OR HOUSE GUARD.
What am I attempting to do: I, Shield-Maiden Lyal'amna Mo'liria of the Vigilant Shield, am attempting to plan an en-mass training event for charters, groups and noble guards alike to help them with the tense situations of holding and taking fortifications.
This will be started with a side event of inspecting gear, to see if it is tip top shape and to see who is caring for it (and as such the charter or group they uphold), before being placed into teams. One half of the grouping will be defending the objective and the other will be attacking it.
Those around during the Hightower area might remember a similar, if not the same event back when we did a similar in order to turn recruits from said rank to a member if their performance was good enough during the training. I believed it to be a good way to test recruit and lesser members skill, as such to increase their rank or notice that they either do not fit the charter or group or need a little more training to become more skilled as a result. Even if this is no longer the way we do things it should still be good training, and good fun for those involved.
Why am I reaching out to High Ranking members it said organisations: I am reaching out to these members as they might get the word out more to their fellow guards and or members in order to get them involved. I also would need them to make contact with me so that we, as a group, could then plan the event out to even greater success, because, as of so far, only me and two others have been planning out the event, and more eyes and minds would be more helpful.
If attending/If this is put on, what should I bring: Bring the normal weapons and armour you would bring on a patrol for the inspection stage, however training and non-lethal weapons are the only weapons to be used during the defence and invasion itself. We don't want guards putting other guards out of commition obviously.
I do hope guard leaders and high ranking members of these organisations do consider helping me plan this out and help me get this started, and if not, have taken the time to read this message at the very least.
