• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I'm looking for a magic tutor. Preferably Strings or Cold Fire. (But to be honest, I'm not picky.) I've read on the wiki about magic, period. A lot. And I'd really like to learn. (Well, for Solsyn to learn. Yes, I refer to my roleplay character as a separate person. Problem?) I want her to have an edge in roleplay combat. If nobody answers, that's okay. If they do, that's great! /mail send schwaptastic612. But I would really like it if someone did. So...yeah! That's all. Back to your regularly scheduled programming. ~schwaptastic612, a.k.a Solsyn Vanguard

You'd have to wait multiple years in real life to be decent enough to use Magic in combat.
Unless you plan on paying the Magic Tutor to have been a tutor through your character's life, which would allow you to be a good mage :)

You can add it into your character background, but I could make a tutor character some time if you don't find anyone else.

I have been told that RP time can pass in any way you want it to. If there's some more updated info on that could you get me a link? @Jack_The_Unseen

You have? That's weird... I wouldn't think that's true, because we do have a date, and a year.

For example, I'm pretty sure the year is 302 at the moment, and my character " Levi' Almaide " is fifteen.
She'll be sixteen in November.
And then seventeen next year in real life.

Alright, thanks man. I'll keep looking and if I find anymore info I might make a post about it as any info on it is hard to find.

I believe most newer players on massive tend to time skip, it's only not allowed/ heavily, heavily frowned upon when you're apart of nobility but most frown upon it no matter what part you play involving social class and such.

Nobles do it all the time, for example Vesta (My noble character) was made her parents life were altered slightly to fit it. To explain why she wasn't in RP it was stated she was held in an estate until she was mature enough. Same with most noble children. With RP mentoring I would just state the characters met earlier in their lives so that the magic training will be relevant.

I meant like large ones (1+year(s), and not character alteration.

@daman132 I'm pretty sure age skipping is okay and not heavily frowned upon, you should be asking permission from the head of the family to time skip if you're a noble though. I don't think you have to go by real life time either, or else loads of people would've been in jail a lot longer ;u;

Also I /think/ that you can make up an NPC tutor or something. Not too sure. Ye.

You can make your own NPC mentor, but some people want to enjoy the fun of learning the magic during RP.
