• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hi,

Just a little brainteaser or character builder that I thought of. In order to participate, you need to write a small excerpt of your character's life if they suddenly had the opposite amount of wealth they normally do. For example, one in poverty is suddenly a powerful merchant. A high noble now lives in rags.

Most importantly; your character's personality stays exactly the same.

Kalti

"Keep your soddy park! I ain't paying twenty-bloody-thousand regals for this piece'o'shite!", Kalti ever-so-kindly informed the bumbling property owner that stood before him, contract in hand. A scribe stood to his side to read the agreement, as Kalti could not.

"Kind ser, this is several fine hectares of Ithanian landscape - one does not build a park there; it is farmland."

"I don't effin' care what it's for. I ain't payin' even a tenpiece for it!", Kalti barks, waving him off. "Get out of my bloody estate! Force your papers on some other poor fellow. Try not to trip on yer' fat on the way out!"

Kalti waited until the gates of his estate closed before sighing as he reclined in his chair. Some small part of him believe that his inheritance was a burden, rather than a blessing. Apparently, he was the last living relative to an uncle whose ex-wife's new husband had passed away. What a crock of shite, he thought, tapping his table with two fingers. He looked upwards to check the time. A new seller was probably going to enter, just about...

His door opened, and a servant along with an overweight merchant entered.

"Ser, presenting Mister Pillsbury of Ithania; offering several hectares of la-"

"Oh sod this!"

funny thing is if Alea had the opposite amount of money she'd be sorta rich but nothing would change. She wouldn't do much for it. She's chill with her clothing.

Derich

He swung his poorly forged blade at the man's head "Call me tha' again an' I will remove yer fekin' tounge"

The man ducked under Derich's blade, laughing lightly "And this is 'ow yeh treat yer brother Derich?.."

He smirked, sheathing his blade "Nae.. It be how I treat twats without nae sense o' right an' wrong lad."

His ragged armour would shimmer in the light of day, the man turning on his heel and leaving "I'll get yeh nex' time Derich!"

Taylan

"You sell fine wines oui?" The man looked puzzled as he sat in a lonely bar stool

The bartender roared with laughter at the ragged man "Why yeh be drinkin' tha' pish lad?"

Taylan gave the bartender a glare "A bottle of wine seems to be worth more t'an your bar Misure."

The bartender stopped laughing, looking angrily at the ragged Ithanian
"Ge' out before I throw yeh out lad"

Taylan nodded lightly "Oui Misure, so I shall." He grabbed a large bottle of ale as fast as he could, darting through the tavern door and running off into the Fendarfell wilderness.

Adrian

He trudged through the swamplands of Teled Methen "When I get out of 'ere I'm going straight to those damned lads running th' guild."

His companion chuckled heartily "I wouldn't do that Ser, last man whom dared speak against them lost his head."

Adrian shot a glare at the companion "Did I ask for advice boy?.."

The companion went quiet for a moment, the man rather pale "N.. No Ser, I just.. I rather enjoy having my leader alive."

Adrian chuckled softly "Eh, thank you boy. You know I mean no harm in my words."

Jamile

His voice bellowed through the halls "Sister, where have you gotten to!"

Two maids stood behind the young Qadir "S.. Sir, if it means anything to you, m.. might it be wise to check the gardens?"

He turned to the maids, nodding lightly "Aye, send th' house guard t' look fer th' girl."

A small giggle could be heard down the hall "Jamile! Come find me!"

The young Qadir sighed loudly, walking swiftly down the halls after his sister "Dahlia, this is not fun any more!"

His sister jumped out behind him and hugged him "Jamile! I win, I caught you first!"

Elric

The man stood tall above the Knights before him, all of them ready to attack him; Elric reached for his blade, snarling lightly; His armour covered in the crest of a Bear, the golden coloured plate shimmering in the light.

The first Knight attacked him, alas too late as Elric drew his blade; meeting the Knight's blade and blocking the attack, he sent the blade through the Knight's neck as the next darted up.

The second Knight swung at Elric's head, though he raised a heavily plated arm to defend; the block being effective he sent his fist to the man's face, knocking him back into a wall.

Elric chuckled softly "I 'ave already removed two o' yeh, wha' makes y' think I can't take th' rest?.."

The men fled, Elric grunting softly and turning on his heel; he returned to his home, waving off his guards and sighing lightly; he rubbed his face, sitting in a chair and slowly falling asleep.

I do have other characters but there is not much I can do with them as there is nothing they would do with power, nor do they live in much poverty.
