Monday 3rd September, 306AC,
Dearest citizens of Regalia,
It is with my deepest regrets that I hereby relinquish directorship of The Medical Union, and by extension The Ivory Hospital, to the oversight of the State Council.

It has become clear to me that while our initial hopes and expectations for the charter were great, the reassemblage of the Medical Union fell short of the high standards that Regalian citizens expect of us. The Union was unsteady, and the direction under its newfound leadership was flaky at best. I, Nadina Haaven, wish to take full responsibility for the shortcomings of this organization and it's failure to produce adequate treatment and a cure during a time of extreme unrest for the city.
My prayers go towards the continuation of the Ivory Hospital under the care of the State Council and its larger board of Medical Advisors. I also wish to extend my sincerest thanks to the talented doctors and nurses who performed among the Medical Union, and the citizens of Regalia for their undue patience.
I will be returning to my roots in the apothecary business where I hope to continue to assist the Crown City from a more modest role. I am unsure where our other council members; Dr. Jocelyn von Duerr, Araceli Santana, and Dianne Black wish to take themselves, but please wish them the very best in their future careers--medicinal or otherwise.
May the Spirit guide our path,
Signed
Madame Nadina Haaven
First Lady of House Haaven.
