• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

just out of curiosity, I'd like to know who's going to still be with us after the reset and whos decided to part ways because of it and the reasons you're making your decision

Staying of course! In my opinion, those who are leaving because of the reset are a bit out of touch about the state of the server.

Staying! Celetil shall be reborn as a glorious silver spire above a hollow mountain.

Besides, if I was ever gonna leave it would because they never reset anything.

Starting from scratch is like a breath of fresh air when you don't have much to work towards anymore. Staying, because it will probably be fun.

I will be staying so if anyone requests help with rebuilding their faction I can swoop in and help build stronger relations with other facs. But to also see the new generation of massive join in

I think this will be the end of my MineCraft journey - a decision which gets harder with every new post about Essalonia - but I think it's time.

I might stick around just to build a small token monument to the days of old and the huge beautiful builds we've created along the way... somewhere completely random in a forest maybe... and make enough regals to keep it claimed... but I'm thinking after 6 years here it is probably a good time to move on to some other creative pursuit. I might learn Blender and buy a 3D printer... or start a D&D channel (move over Matt Mercer) or take some of my furniture design concepts into production. Either way I'm eternally grateful for this life I've had here.

Thanks to all.

I would like to return. Not yet sure how active though due to work.

There was never an option: How can I deny late-night faction chats to new players when I had them all when I was a kid 5 years ago. You give back what you take, and I wanna see a younger generation come to the server and thrive here.

I'm staying.

MassiveCraft used to have a magic to it

The magic of a new and frightening landscape
and of even more frightening players
they weren't so bad when you got to know them, and they know a lot about Massive
and they encouraged you to play on the server, and whispered to you legends of times past (cough @Alj23 cough)'
And now, after years of mineman combat and turmoil, you are amongst those legends who had once inspired you to join them in the sun and achieve wonders
now it's your duty to inspire a new generation of minemen and women

the circle of life
balanced, as all things should be

It's as @TheyCalledMeKiko said

There was never an option

Honestly I might spend some time in the factions world once I get back from work. The enthusiasm I've seen over the new world has me interested.

This Server has gave me so much support and helpped me out of the hardest times in my life. So it would be only be fair if I stayed with the server when it starts having hard times like I did. So with that said. I'm dedicated to Stay with the server until it's dying breath.

Pft— even with my computer broken you think I can beat my chronic and probably unhealthy addiction to this?

No way in hecc.

I've taken many breaks from massive, each time, I thought I was done with the server. It turns out, my brain can't comprehend the words "I'm done with Massivecraft" in that specific order. I'm definitely staying, and I'm 100% hyped for the restart.

I may be leaving. The reset offers a perfect out - I'll have nothing to come back to. I'll need to focus as I start my path to medical school, and massivecraft has always been a (pleasant) distraction for me, I need to move on.

I'll join you! Do you have a faction you're already with, or will all that be starting over too?
Don't have anything now. Might join a faction at some point. Tbh I'll never be one to PVP, bad Dominican WiFi and constant brownouts make it difficult. I'll be more of a survivalist if I'm thinking correctly.

I'm staying. Still not convinced the reset is going to work long term (I hope it does) but I'll be here regardless.

Still not convinced the reset is going to work long term
Honestly this reset gives me hope for it lasting longer. Before this whole situation I figured Massive would be gone by ~2019 but now it feels like it can go for at least another year. Ofc I have no actual numbers to back up either of these estimates, but the general positivity about the reset has made me feel like it's going to get more active.

Staying. It is time that us, Game Staff, bring survival back to new heights with the playerbase behind us!

I'm staying at ur mom's place tonight hahaha gotten

But yeah probably staying
