• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

"Broodmother is a meme" -- "Not anymore".
The Void Worship rewrite last time was pretty decent, it put Void Worship on the map again with its own unique twists, but the abilities were hashed out too quickly without properly balancing them, and in some cases they were all kind of out there and really extreme in terms of the requirements. This rewrite isn't so much a complete rewrite as much as it's a re-balance of the drawbacks, powers, removing some OP ones and unimaginative ones, and adding in new ones.

Full List of Changes:
  • Bleeding Crown
    • Changed the requirement from Slave murder to just slave torture to make it less deadly.
    • Also made it revolve more about owning slaves rather than just killing them.
  • Weeping Beast
    • New Void Worship God
    • Gives healing powers
    • Gives death-cry mimicry ability
  • Broodmother
    • Removed weird child eating rituals.
    • Changed the ritual into super-soldier baby breeding.
    • Made it a lot more PG.
  • The Scarlet Scourge
    • Completely changed the layout and made it more about vampires.
    • Can mind control vampires that drink from them.
    • Can use their blood as a light form of acid.
  • The Prideful Scorn
    • New Void Worship God.
    • Can summon bound pieces of armor at will.
  • The Verdant Ember
    • New Void Worship God.
    • Can curse other people to become like Yanar for a month by ingestion of substance.
    • Can siphon half the proficiency from such a cursed Yanar for the duration of the curse.
  • The Thousand Eyes
    • Removed the Info stealing ability
    • Replaced it with memory masking. As long as they do not speak, looking away from them or them walking away will make others forget they were there.
  • The Shredding Claw
    • Removed
  • The Dread Fist
    • Removed
  • The Chaotic Maelstrom
    • Removed
  • The Black Betrayer
    • Removed

Please make considerations for the Lore change on Character apps and IG RP!

Are there any suggestions to how characters that've built complex plotlines around certain void abilities should incorporate this change?

Is it possible that the abilities shifted ICly instead of OOCily? Because of Arken stuff?

No. The Thousand Eye Gods system was quasi meta anyway. Any information gained from it was poorly designed and probably not fairly executed.

Maelstrom seemed ok, kinda surprised it was removed. I liked seeing people use it.

How are shadowbrood for playability and legality within the city of regalia for that matter?
