• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello guys,

I went creative today, because I was kind of bored... I made my own interpretation of a vespid hive.. enjoy

Note: I haven't spend too much time on it.
Note: My first real posted build ;p

I'm not proud of it, just want to hear your opinion + I might improve it later.

First pic:

I've actually spawned some spiders in it for fun. U can see, that the area has some height differences in it, but not much. (the big spider on the left in actually sitting on the 'stairs') (the hive has 2 levels, in which I've put multiple holes/spider houses)

I made a dead tree in the center, covered with cobwebs (not that much of big deal, but it suits the surroundings well).

This is the full hive at the moment, I might expand it. I added some rough mountain spikes, just too add the creepy factor :)

This is the entrance of the hive ( I really should have posted this picture at the beginning xD). I made it very narrow, because of the size of spiders (which is small ofc ;p). This also adds to the creepy factor lol :)

Let me know what you think, any comment is welcome (obviously I don't care that much), I had fun making it after all <3

And maybe, I will expand it.
(ideas for expansion):
- Make the small 2 lvl high hive, into a mountain which has several tunnels in it) - Add some more dead trees
- Add some lightning/shaders for better quality
- Maybe make a circular canyon around it / deep canyon right through it)
Looking forward to hear from you guys! If u think u can do it better, which u ofc can, post some pictures of ur tries! I would love to see some more spider-related builds in Daendroc ;)

I like it, you could have a subterranean section too, mushroom farms... all sorts if your basing it off actual insect hives, there is some pretty awesome stuff you can do

Two tips:
1. Daylight pictures! It is very difficult to see the details in the darkness.

2. I don't think Vespids would be amazing stone carvers because they're, well, bugs. Perhaps more implementation of organic material? (Sponge, mycelium, etc.)

I wouldn't be so sure as to the stone carving. Given enough time and determination (possibly with a bit of concentrated formic acid to help things along) giant insects could probably get through stone. It certainly wouldn't be too precise though.

Yeah, acid decayed rock would be cool. Would be hard to build though.

Didn't feel like expanding it today, however... I made some elvish looking guard towers:

(inside view)

Note: wall is only on the right tower, which is therefore connected to the beams of this tower
+ Im not content with the roofs, worked a bit fast...

Again, it's not the vespid hive... But I've added a front gate+ road at the thingy i was making...

I'll set up a new thread about this, if i'm going on with it....
