Inulvaan (0) Description [Enchant Shift][/B]
☙A requiem to Vanity of Many, and a remembrance of Piety's life experiences under the tutelage of Drulailmon. "Oath, purpose, responsibility, they all flourish on the battlefield."
Vanectusrelicum, whilst in this disguise/form, is covered in armor and draperies of tenants and scripture. This is the form of an Ordvaan warrior loyal to the Faith.❧
Lavei Fyror (1) Description [Encant Shift]
☙The form of the Harpy is as mysterious and elegant as it is eerie and wretched. Their physical appearance is as feathered and elongated at the neck as a typical Harpy. In this battleform, Vanity can move across the battlefield with great speed and agility, dealing devasting blows with their talons, and hovering low to the ground to get around opponents.❧
Oculathorax (3) Description [Enchant Shift]
☙Wisely said, one should raise their words, and not their voice, it is rain that grows flowers, not thunder. - Rumi
Yet the Oculathorax as a shift was unlocked when Vanity's pent up rage reached a singularity. This form is Vanity's rage personified and given form. Lashing out against targets with ugly tendrils and enraged eyes, the Oculathorax fights in the way we use hateful words.❧
Mumble (4) Description [Enchant Shift]
☙Where there is weakness, there is great strength. Mumble is a body of compassion and empathy. They take this form to assist backlines as a supportive healer of sorts, pouring their heart and considering the stature of their allies, rather than focusing on the opponent ahead. In this battleform, Vanity reflects on the situation around them, and the ones who call for their aid.❧
Rock Golem (5) Description [Enchant Shift]
☙Through Tull'ryn's teachers on earth magic, Vanectus has discovered a way to turn themselves into a rock golem, rather than conjure one.❧[/INDENT] -

❧ Magical Talent -
- Animal Masters: You can communicate with wild animals in your presence, but they cannot have plot-relevant information or information that would otherwise be metagaming or character-revealing. You can summon a plant and bark-matter mount from the forest anywhere, or call upon a Regalian deer to stride to you as a mount. Finally, you can turn wild beasts into temporary familiars. This may not work on Event Animals.
- Forest Masters: You can (within reason), change how you are perceived, or how others perceive the forest around you while out of Combat. This can include producing animal sounds that imply the presence of predators, disappearing in the canopy as you jump from tree to tree, and generally making the forest a hostile place to be for unwelcome guests. Whatever is done, cannot confer combat benefit or pre-combat positioning.
- Wood Singer: You can use song, music, or hand gestures to reshape wood and other plant-like materials in any shape you like, for example, jewelry or weapons. Other good applications for this are as furniture or decorations inside houses, or to address in-the-moment needs while in the forest, for example by creating wooden bowls, or chairs to sit on that sprout from the roots in the soil.
- Capitalism Free: You cannot be Aristocratic or Nobility in Regalia, but you don't need to either. While Regalians need money to buy things, you can just get anything and everything from the forest for free. You never need to buy clothes or food, and even alchemical ingredients and medicine can be regularly sourced from the woods. Money has no meaning to you and you can extract value for yourself. You have defeated John Locke.
- Beast Becoming: You can use a ritual/ consume/ sacrifice any part of an animal to adopt aspects of it, for example consuming the flesh of a jungle-cat and taking on their hind legs and tail, or sacrificing the pelt of a bear and transforming your arms into bear-claw hands. These changes are temporary (however long you want them to be), can change any body part but never the head, and cannot grant other mechanical uses such as flight.

☙ PLOT HOOKS & CHARACTER CONCEPT ❧
-
➊ Absorbant to Theurgy: Vanity is incredibly weak to curses, hexes, and demons given their absorbent and reflective nature. They are constantly in need of exorcisms due to reckless behaviors and experiments with magic.
➋ TBD
➌ Library of Forgotten Pleasures: Having founded the Library of Forgotten Pleasures, Vanity works as the founder of the Library, working alongside Wisteria to constantly improve the establishment for both a bank of information for Floral Court, and an amenity for the local faithful in Aseia's name.
➍ Inulvaan Custodian: An Inulvaan Custodian comes with many responsibilities, including those of guidance, answering, prosecution, and aid.
➎ Shape Shifter: Vanectus takes on the shape of many different creatures and monsters, making them an interesting opponent to fight, who periodically changes entire combat styles in the span of minutes. -
➊ Aseia
"Aseia is the law that binds our mutant cores and protects us from tidal waves of ancient magic. For without Aseia, we surrender without concern or indifference to the laws of reality designed to hurt and destroy the fragile mortal mind."
➋ Artaraal
"Without the prosecutorial mind, cool, ordered, archival, we'd have only vengeance, not justice. I do not carry law like a sword, but like a record, so that when I strike, even the guilty understand why." -
- Mayënel is a dedicated and long-standing practitioner of the Estelley faith and legal principles. They possess remarkable talent in harnessing magic for shapeshifting into various magus creatures, often utilizing these abilities in combat, which makes them a reliable protector and warrior. Additionally, they have a passion for literature, spending peaceful moments diligently organizing ancient scrolls and tomes with great enthusiasm. Very little within the archives goes unnoticed by their keen eye.
