• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Unable To Get Into The Server?

(*) Downtime Reason (*)
Our server host is changing data centers. The reason MassiveCraft is offline is because the 10 rackservers are actually being physically moved :O. This was expected but I did not know exactly when it was going to happen. Expected downtime is until 3-5AM CST (https://www.google.com/search?q=CST+time+now). Meaning another 6 hours.
^ from cay

and i think theyre doing updates now or it is just taking longer than expected

its not likely to ever be deleted, well not within the next couple years with how popular the game, and the server still are

Im not sure, I have given you all the information that i had.

It appears that updates are happening

Hey there,

as Cay mentioned in the message above the reason for the server being down was a move of the physical servers by the host company, aka they moved into a new building.

Unfortunately the server host did not inform us about the exact time beforehand so we couldn't inform you about the downtime.

Currently not all of our 10 rack servers are in place, meaning that sharding can't work as it is supposed to, Cay is working on the issue right now. Expect some more information soon :)
