• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I noticed as a tigran, it always says damage increased from 1 to 2, but with MCMMO unarmed, I can 1 shot animals. It would be nice if the race messeges about damage showed the actual damage dealt.

This depend on the order the additions are made. It would be correct that the base damage was increased from 1 to 2, with the MCMMO modifier added after this correction. So it is a question, whether the problem is with the Race plugin or MCMMO (which doesn't give you any info on how much damage is done, except for certain criticals).

Stop thinking about it from a "why should it be done" perspective. That's already established.

The damage multiplier is applied before mcmmo damage for a reason. Races increase damage by a percentage. If the damage is applied before mcmmo, the additional damage is less. Not sure if this was the mods subtly nerfing races, or unintentional.

I'd like to know exactly how much damage I do...
Why should the game tell you how much damage you do, but not tell me (because I'm not playing a race with a damage bonus)? That is an unfair advantage. You already have the damage bonus, with no negative effects, why should you have yet another bonus? I understand that it has been important up to this point as a debug tool, but now that people are complaining about how it is implemented, I suggest it be eliminated.

It's not really an advantage, all it's doing is telling you how much damage you do. This keeps you from doing a lot of math.

When the damage modifier is applied is not the issue at hand. I think it would be OP to apply it after MCMMO, especially with axes. but I think the damage displayed should tell you the full damage you dealt, or remove it all together.
