This issue seems to be hastily printed and held in cases set at the population hotspots in the city. Copies would not be delivered by hand as per usual, and there would be no cost.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: AVOID THE CLICKS
12 November

Yesterday, a meteor crashed in the middle of Petalcourt, lighting the district ablaze. Multiple invisible monsters, which the Rose Record will refer to as Klickts (as we all know "invisible monster" sounds incredibly silly) in all further publications, landed in the center of the meteor and began to terrorize the city. The Violet Order has now called a state of emergency city-wide, and weapon restrictions are loosened in the interest of self-defense against these monsters.

The Rose Record urges its readers to stay safe and avoid Manathar and Mages both, who have been assumed to be at the root of the Klickts now crawling around Regalia. The Violet Order is accepting refugees of both the Peerage and the common classes, as long as the commoners do not hold outstanding criminal records.

According to the Violet Order and the Lord Chancellor, these monsters can be identified in an area by their distinctive clicking. They are capable of low, gravelly speech in their own voices, but can perfectly mimic others. Do not open your door for things you cannot see. Do not use auditory codes or visual codes, as these things are invisible and could feasibly be watching your every move. Reports state that they can burrow through stone, and break glass easily. The Klickts hunt in cycles, most likely timed with the times of day, though these could be light-affected as well. If these cycles are light-affected, then the Regalian Sewers are possibly the most dangerous places to be in the entire city. The Rose Record calls upon those able to board up these Sewer entrances nearest population centers, in the interest of restricting the mobility of the Klickts.

If necessary, refer to events the Klickts would not know about or information they could not have witnessed, and change the verification questions every time to prevent them from learning the answers. Again, these Klickts are capable of perfect mimics, and are fully invisible. Suggested questions include your mother's name, where you met the person you're allegedly conversing with, and your birthplace, though please, please think of better questions.

The Klickts are aggressive and powerful, with assumed claws capable of tearing people to shreds. Currently, the wounded include Leufred du Brierüst, Deo dei Termini, and countless others, though no deaths have been recorded as of the time of writing. However, we do not know what these things are or what they want, and must assume that they are fully capable of murder if they so choose. Do not risk your life.

When it is safe to do so, the Rose Record will be returning not only to its lovely printing press but its weekly scheduling but for now, we will place higher importance on lives than the news. The Regalian government is doing everything in its power to combat this threat, and we urge you to please cooperate with the Violet Order, the Swords of the Bulwark, and other organizations in the City in this time of crisis.

Safe places to go include:

Greygate.
The Mercenary Keep.
This list will be expanded as more come into our knowledge.

If anyone has a suggestion to combat this threat, please pen me directly at Greygate. I will bring it up to the Government, and we will attempt to solve this in whatever way we can. Please stay safe.

Truthfully and honestly, always,

OOC: Edit made within minutes of posting to fix the incomplete sentence in the first paragraph. Should be okay now!

Lily scans over the paper, looking for anything she didn't already know. "Oh, they hunt on cycles. Now we just need to find out when the cycles stop.. and start."

Gwenyth put a tentative finger over the safe locations section, particularly to the latter mentioned. She shook her head and murmured, "Incorrect."

Galatea's eyes widened as she read the paper, her mind was frazzled and scarred for life. The idea of "invisible" monsters had her worries up too high.

"These monsters better leave Regalia and not cause us trouble..." She put down the paper, resting with a worried mind in her head.

"Sensationalist news. Don't ever spend my money on buying these common man's papers, Alfred." Hengest scolds his servant, shushing him and the newspaper out of his room.

"Crickey!" Connak would exclaim as he sat beside a faint candle glow in the darkest depths of his basement, "Guess I should be lucky to be alive after that clicker got me. I need to find the others." He'd say, quietly as he slowly set the paper on the bloodied table.

Milo glanced up from the paper. For once he was not standing on that bridge, and instead was in his apartment.

"Well. Wish I stocked up on sake' before this."

Fen'nan Solaveira let her face drop and slam to the counter, giving a long groan of exasperation.

"Shitballs.
