The Regalo - Sastorinite Sect

May the All-Mother Goddess Estel Bless Whoever Reads this Decree;
Good Tidings brothers and sisters under the holy light of her Holiness, the All-Mother Goddess Estel, I write today with the intention of declaring my leadership of Minoor Estellian customs within the Crown Isle for a period of three years. Should this be contested, you may speak with me privately. But, as the first part of my decree, I hereby declare the creation of the Regalo-Sastorinite Sect of Minoor Estellianism.

This sect, albeit with heavy Minoor elements, is meant for the wider Estellianite community at large and serves to benefit Estellianites as a neutral middle-ground between them. Our practices will still be held in our customary fashion, but our services will apply to all worshippers of the All-Mother Goddess Estel, as, at the end of the day we are all her children. Our help is mainly meant toward businesses, as a way to free them from the corruption that is currency, inquire with Sister La'kshmii for details.

Our beliefs, location, and events will be listed below, these will be updated often at our location should you inquire with Sister La'kshmii, with that said, and if you are still interested in entering the All-Mother Goddess's Holy Light, read on.

Alright! So essentially, I am creating this organization to lead Minoor Estellianism and spread their unique beliefs! All Estellians are welcome to this little community, and all other religious leaders (of non-Estellian religions) are permitted to watch from afar, and speak to Ceres about their beliefs.

The Beliefs of our Coalition are strict but necessary in order to perfect the world and make it our own. Despite this, we allow those who are a little uneasy with some of our practices to join, so long as they vow to change their ways over time gradually. Furthermore, these are generalized beliefs of our people and our religion, all who considered themselves Minoor Estellianite abide by these sacred rules.

• All Currency is considered evil and vile, to be considerably rich in currency is taboo and to be avoided through charity or, simply not accepting it as payment.
• Eating any meat besides that which comes from fish is banned, furthermore, deforestation in any manner is taboo though not banned provided good reason.
• Magic and Sorcery is taboo though not widely banned.
• The entrance of any cave is banned for fear of Ssepsston and subsequent death.
• Bulls are sacred and, under no circumstance may they be harmed in anyway.
• Url, Eronidas, and Minoor are the only races capable enough to become Minotaurs, the Holy Defenders of the Regalo-Sastorinite Sect.
• Belief that Estel Represents all that is Holy and Good, associated with Light, and that Ssepsston represents all that is Evil and Corrupt, associated with water and the ocean.
  
  
• Slizzar are innately evil and are not viable for any redemption. Mai-Allar are also in the same category.
• Communal living between members is paramount to a successful organization.
• Nobility and Royalty should be encouraged, not forced, to give up their riches and power to join the Commune.
• Corrupt Nobility who are known as Greedy are to be avoided.
• Minoor are the most enlightened race and therefore hold the more say in this quasi-democratic society, though can be fought against diplomatically.
• Monarchy, Capitalism, Imperialism, and Militarism are illegal, with stipulations for that last one.
• The most important rule, if nothing else, is that all members must be self-sufficient enough not to rely on Regalia or any other metropolis for happiness.

Should you not want to follow one or more of these rules, Sister Ceres should be sought out and a religious inquiry will take place to determine, on an individual basis, how liable you are to some of these specific rules. Don't abuse these rules or Sister Ceres will stop caring and begin using a wider brush, you don't want that.

The Clergy of Minoor Estellianism is typically run solely by the Sister herself, however, due to the unique circumstances in Regalia, a cabinet is required. Below are listed all of the roles that need to be filled in order for a successful Minoor Estellianite organization and Sister Ceres calls upon all Minoor to volunteer themselves to fill these roles.

Augurer Sister Ceres La'kshmii - The central figure in the sect, Ceres leads all of the most holy rituals and co-hosts the holidays. She has been given the title Augurer simply to differentiate herself from the other clergy within Regalia. Furthermore, she leads the sect and is the main person to consult for any and all issues. - @Kadius

The Divine Minotaur - Chosen by Ceres, the Divine Minotaur is head of all combat-related actions that can be associated with the Sect. The Minotaur must be Url and if Ceres is to choose someone Non-Url to become the Divine Minotaur, they will need to receive the Oorl Worm. Furthermore, the Divine Minotaur is the head guard of Ceres and the two are generally stuck at the hip. - <Vacant>

Mistress/Master of Festivity - The organizers and leaders of all the holidays in the Minoor calendar and then some, this person should generally be a fun-loving party animal whose devotion to Estel is unmatched. Any race can occupy this role provided they follow Minoor Estellianism specifically. - @CyberMo01

Mistress/Master of Resources - This role is fairly self-explanatory, this is a Scribe specifically made for the sect and all of its resources. It upholds all the traditional roles of the Scribes of the Minolassaar as explained on the Minoor Lore page. Any race of any Estellianite Sect may hold this position, though it is picked by the Sect's Caucus. - <Vacant>

Mistress/Master of Architecture - A more obscure role in the sect, this person is responsible for all of the land under the Sect's power. Meaning, they decide where every tent goes, where every building goes, decoration, tree, what have you. This can be held by any Estellianite of any race. - <Vacant>.

To avoid any confusion, I will explain the Caucus OOCly to really get the point across because it can be complex. This sect is a sort of proto-democracy in an Athenian style where all Estellianites vote on a topic that applies to the Caucus. This means that it is not a theocracy intentionally so that Ceres can avoid any accusations of starting a Jacobin uprising. Furthermore, it is very heavily rigged so that the ideals of Minoor Estellianism are heard disproportionately to other sects.

The voting system is corrupt, like most communist voting bases, and votes are dished out based on race. Minoor and Url get two votes on any topic whereas any other Estellianite only gets one. Finally, if there is a vote that Ceres perceives as "corrupt" or against the core beliefs, she can void it and just decide for herself with the excuse that Estel wills it. This will be done in some sort of B.S ritual that has no basis in really anything and she knows it, hence the title 'Augurer'.

Furthermore, every decision made in the caucus is noted down on a giant clay slab that will be posted wherever we organize as a sort've recap. This will be posted on the discord server and we'll add a small structure in game in order to signify it. Also, the Master/Mistress of Architecture is in charge of where this goes, but at the end of the day Build Staff will always have the final say.

Things that we vote on will really include just about everything except things that would interfere with certain parts of the clergy. Furthermore, no combat or battle-plans will be voted on in the Caucus and is solely upon the Holy Minotaur's shoulders, as they are basically second in power in the sect due to how the religion views Url. Other than that, the Caucus will have to be rp'd out and I can't imagine all meetings will be the same, this is just a general explanation. We will hold one whenever we can get the most people available, probably on the weekends.

The Minotaur are the general peacekeepers of the organization and the foot soldiers of Minoor Estellianism and Estellianism across the board. Minoor, Eronidas, and most especially Url can all participate in this group, and is led by the Divine Minotaur. Every Minotaur is valued and will be heavily supported by the community at large, as the community is responsible as a whole to uphold the organization. Armor, weapons, and other necessary items will be provided by the community.

The Divine Minotaur - Chosen by Ceres, the Divine Minotaur is head of all combat-related actions that can be associated with the Sect. The Bulwark - As implied by the name, this is the Url contingent of the Minotaur and generally the most holy and infallible. The Bulwark are seen as the sort've collective second-in-command to the Divine Minotaur and are allowed to hunt, as they are seen as natural predators so to deny them the hunt would be going against Estel.

The Horde - The Eronidas contingent of the Minotaur, and who are generally seen as the most optimal soldier. The Minoor view the Eronidas as a sort've shield, and this is largely what the Eronidas are in the Sect. The Eronidas are generally allowed to do whatever they want mostly because Minoor see them as infallible in combat.

The Dagger - Finally, the Minoor and Minoor-Cultured individuals of the Minotaur who are seen as a little too valuable to put in harm's way. This, combined with their pacifist nature, makes it so they rarely fight and are generally seen as a clean up crew after the Eronidas and Url tear swathes in the enemies' lines.

As you may have noticed, I intentionally implied that the Minotaur do not have to follow Minoor Estellianism to the T, and this is true. I want people to actually apply for this to sort've be one of the only organized Estellianite forces of the server. Because of this, the Bulwark and the Horde do not have to be Minoor Estellianites and even Ceres is aware of this. When we have our first Caucus I will explain ICly why she believes this, but, I will remind you, this is a sect of a religion. This means that not everything has to be consistent with lore and I want to diversify to make it fun for all players involved. The Eternal Coppice is unfortunately yet to be found by the Augurer, but is known to reside within Regalia's forests. Sister Ceres had a dream, confirmed by the most sacred of rituals, that it did exist and that the All-Mother Goddess Estel had made it especially for the Regalo-Sastorinite Sect. The Eternal Coppice will be the grove that will hold the Caucus and the rest of the Sect, as the All-Mother Goddess Estel is more than capable of providing for us all. At this time though, the Coppice is yet to be found and we hope to deploy scouts to find it.

Alright, so that is the basics of the Sect, I would like for every Estellianite to join this group or at least associate with it, as that's the goal. There is a discord open to everyone that will be added here once I get to it, but in the meantime this is it.
