• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The Mobs Feel Game-breakingly Strong

I'm frustrated by the fact that I can't explore the worlds because of how strong the mobs are. I've been playing for a few days and I notice that once I get outside of the empty cities trying to find any inhabited settlements on foot becomes ridiculously impossible. I'm told that the world is so great but I can't explore it. I can teleport to my faction but I have no idea where it is actually. It might as well exist in a pocket dimension. I would like to go from place to place on foot but most of the time I'm just teleporting around. I can't store my things in my home in Regalia so my incentive to stay is slipping but my incentive to leave is also slipping because I can't explore the survival world. Am I playing this game wrong or what?

map.massivecraft.com should help you out

It sounds like you joined a faction with little to no interest in helping you out, I would look at joining a different faction.

I remember having the very same feeling when I started.
To fight the monsters you need good items. A good bow one-hit-kills most of the common mobs.

As jes said, you're probably in a faction that doesent want to help you out. Massivemobs are difficult to deal with but they will then become a cakewalk once you learn how to manipulate them and get good gear along with it.

lowkey /mail me on massive if you need a gucci fac to join. I'm looking for gucci members c:

Referencing the title, I left Massivebefore due to the mobs being OP for anyone without god armor. And as a newer player, it might not be a top priority to go shopping for gear when you only have so much.

Fortunately there are new ways to make money, such as the job isle, voting, and currently the regalian quests.

But I do think MassiveMobs needs tweaking, since anything besides a sharpness V or power V weapon is useless.

Hahaha happened to me too. When I was starting I was killed by mobs, I lost my items (I think at the time only premiums kept the armor but I might remember wrongly) and left the server. Then a few days latter I returned... there is no other server like massive.

I think the faction did help me enough without outright giving me everything I needed, which I appreciated because I felt like I had an opportunity to earn my way through this world. So, maybe I'm a little too determined to be self reliant to actively seek more help from my faction. I guess I just have to just accept that one can't make it on his own in this server. Thanks everyone.
