Because @BillyTheScroofy wanted it

Say, hypothetically speaking, an end is brought to the Regalian Empire. In one massive event, the entire leading parts of the government and the Imperial seat are wiped out in one go. It is the wet dream of any would be revolutionary, equal rights for all races, no more nobility and a true democracy in Regalia without the Violet or Vigilant or Crimsons to enforce the government's law. But is such a Utopia really possible? What could hypothetically occur if the government is assassinated? Let's find out!

305 AC Spring
An unnamed rebellion strikes at the heart of the Empire, blowing up the entire Imperial Palace and the conference diet held there. With one explosion, the Emperor, the Holy Ministry of the Sancella of Union, the Bureacracy, the Judiciary and the law apparatus of the Regalian Empire are wiped out.

305 AC Summer
After attempting (by what shreds of government remain) to suppress information of the utter collapse of the government is no longer possible, news becomes public that the government has utterly disintegrated. There is not enough time to properly educate successors for all the bureaucratic offices and judiciaries to have functional replacements. Without the Bureaucratic office of Regalia and the Judiciary, the first victims of the collapse of Government are the Tax collectors, tax records and the Regalian court houses. With the collapse of law, an effective state of lawlessness exists in Regalia. No money comes into the treasury anymore, and what remnants of government exist are bleeding money attempting to hold everything peacefully together.

305 AC Autumn
With the complete break down of law, military orders have started forming their own consensus on how to run the Empire. The Vigilant Shield, led by Percy Ravenstad, Edward Dertycia and the Coen family, becomes far more ruthless and aggressive, blaming the 11th creed on the destruction of the now headless Regalian government. With this more hardliner approach, summary arrests and executions are performed in the street without right to trial or fair representation, after all, the courts no longer exist. The first racial riots start overwhelming various parts of the Regalian Crown Isle, though the outlying lands seem relatively peaceful and self sufficient.

305 AC Winter
Large rebellions and assassination attacks have wiped out large parts of the previous Vigilant Shield and Crimson Inquisition, which after the death of William Coen and Anton Viraine, have completely fallen to radical elements believing the end of the Empire is at hand. The remnants chase from district to district, performing an ethnic cleansing of all undesirable races. Tens of thousands of Elves, Dwarves, Tigrans, Ur, Thylans, Maiar and particularly Kleinfolk, die. In fact, the Kleinfolk race is utterly eradicated as the lack of a functional law system to prevent rampant experimentation results in Philip Bancroft creating a spliced disease that wipes out the Kleinfolk race within weeks.

306 AC Summer
The last remnants of the Vigilant and Crimsons have evaporated as the guards are well aware that the situation is no longer tenable. Many noble cities have fled the Regal city back to their homeland, shutting the borders with loyalist elements in their lands. Nobles who continue to cling to the Regalian city are slaughtered in the streets purely for being noble. The Black family is one of the first to be eradicated, always having prided themselves as "one of the people". Unfortunately, they still owned money, which made them a prime target. The Du Polignac family flees all the way to their native island and shut themselves off from the world.

306 AC Winter
Regalia's grain supplies are running dangerously low. The country went bankrupt at the beginning of the year already and was unable to pay for more shipments from Anglia or beyond in New Ceardia. Other nations are starting to take note of the collapse of government. The full year of mourning for the Emperor's death is also over, what remnants of the Church remained have proclaimed Alexander's son, Reynaud Alltmeister, the new Emperor of Regalia. Reynaud is a cruel man however, and crushes revolts with mercenaries which he cannot pay for.

307 AC Summer
Reynaud's younger brother, being a military prince, has had enough of his brother's misuse of the soldiers and ignoring attitude towards pleas to give them a proper pay, as the country has been bankrupt for over a year. He seizes the opportunity together with various military noble families who have had enough of their unsafe livelihood in Regalia to start a military rebellion, staging a coup-d'etat with the army. While the army succeeds in seizing the remnants of the government, Reynaud's youngest brother Frederick teams up with Charlotte Moselberg with the ideal to counter coup again with the Republican element, intent on turning the Regalian Empire into a federal republic with the Emperor as a head of state religious figure. Reynaud is all the while content to kick it back at the Imperial palace, wasting Kade gold like there is no end. The Bancroft cadet branch of the Kade family is eventually fed up, empties the Kade banks and flees back to Anglia. Asserting their father's authority, they convince the old Kade council to accept the Bancroft as new overlords and shut off Anglia.

308 AC Summer
A year after the closing of Anglia's ports and seclusion, Noble families secede from the Regalian Empire one by one as the government had descended into a three way civil war between the princes. The military element is the largest, but the Republican guard are sizable, mostly relying on non-Humans to bolster their forces. Meanwhile the de-facto Emperor Reynaud is supported by foreign nations like The Qadir sultanate which continues to hope to accelerate the collapse of the Empire. The first noble family (beyond those who thought they had allies and died in Regalia) that formally falls is the Coen family. Their lands revolt against what little remains of their family, not having the advantage of blue blood or long loyal lineage in country lands. The remnants flee north into Ravenstad and Bancroft lands which work more closely together to guard their southern borders.

308 AC Winter
Regalia suffers a crippling famine followed by various plague outbreaks. As much as one fourth of city's population would die at an exponential rate for the next five years. Birth rates plummet, graveyards are overworked and dead pile up in the streets or the crown river.

315 AC Summer
The Fong family flees back to Yang-tzu after a series of explosions destroys nearly the entirety of the Eastern Rim Isles. Similarly the Drixagh lands split away and return back to a barbaric nomadic state. The Regalian civil war endures and has gained a new fourth contestant, the son of Princess Adelheid Ivrae has taken up the banner with his newly wed wife, Andrea Anahera, to invade the north. Forced to push into Dragenthal, desperate for the food excess that Anglia is hoarding, Anahera and Ivrae troops clash with Ravenstad and Kade troops. Dragenthal turns into a complete war zone as whole cities are leveled due to the rampant use of magic in the desperation to capture the grain barns of Anglia.

318 AC
Regalia suffers massive exoduses where ships are used in large quantities to levy people from the Regalian Isle to New Ceardia and Fendarfell, hoping the colonial lands offer a better future. The famine and disease in Regalia continues where the effective lawlessness has split the city into competing districts. Due to the ongoing civil war that is also fought largely in the Regalian underground and Palatial districts now, hundreds of soldiers dying over small meters of gains, the city of Regalia has truly descended into anarchy.

321 AC
Frederick Kade and Charlotte Moselberg are killed when the republican movement is crushed and all ring leaders are executed. The republican movement had lost traction recently either way, the concept of democracy was completely out of the window when the city ran out of food and citizens attacked one another just for scraps of bread.

326 AC
The war between Anahera-Ivrae and Ravenstad-Bancroft grinds to a winter halt after both armies are too exhausted to continue. Large bands of criminals rove all over the countryside of Anglia and Dragenthal, smuggling food back to Regalia. While this alleviates the constant food shortage in Regalia, it results in the collapse of Anglian production. Cedric Bancroft eventually sticks the middle finger to everything and sails off into the sunset with the Laridae. Percy Ravenstad is stubborn and stays to defend his family's precious assets in Michellons, but is eventually overrun by criminal elements as Andrea Anahera has shifted to bribing criminals to engage in a thuggish guerrilla warfare.

331 AC
The colonial realms like Ithania and Nordskag have long since left the Regalian commonwealth, though only now have they officially announced their independence. Despite the utter collapse of Regalia itself, the colonial realms are doing relatively fine. Ithania is largely protected by Nordskag which gains a huge population boost after refugees mostly from Northerne populations flee to join this nation.

333 AC
Daendroc completely collapses as Daenshore becomes so over packed with refugees and citizens that a single disease kills nearly half the population in a few months. Many conclude this disease was actually magical of origin and made by the Elves. The Elves mostly benefit from the collapse of the Empire as they were able to grow uninhibited. Many technologies left behind by the collapsing Empire were used against the Orcs who start tethering on the edge of annihilation at the hands of the Elves.

340 AC
The Qadir Sultan finally invades the Regalian crown Isle with an army after decades of waiting. The people in the city welcome him with open arms in the hopes that he will free them of lawless existence, though he instead starts enslaving tens of thousands of citizens and selling them back to Farahdeen. The Orcs in Daensdroc meanwhile have gone underground into the caves of the northern half of the continent, a new Elven Empire is proclaimed and goes to war with Lusits and Ithanian in an attempt to reclaim the old Elven lands.

350 AC
New nations arise in Fendarfell and New Ceardia, the colonial realms having widened so much with population influx from migration that new kingdoms and republics form in the wake of the Regalian Empire's collapse.

370 AC
The Elven Empire completely overruns Ithania and Daenshore, eventually deciding to avoid Nordskag to avoid a protracted winter war. Fendarfell is up next as one by one smaller Human kingdoms fall to the Elven Empire which now stretches almost the entire length between Hyarroc and upper Fendarfell.

390 AC
The Cold war that previously existed between the various Empire has been replaced with the Qadir sultanate and the Elven Empire. While some races enjoyed equal rights in Regalia before, everything has generally gone backwards. Tigrans as a race have gone nearly extinct or were re-enslaved by the Elves. Dwarves, without the support of the Humans in Ellador and the Regalian Empire's technological support, have dwindled in numbers. In Grebor only about 30,000 pure Dwarves remain, it is believed they will all go extinct within 20 years.

420 AC
A 10 year war has been raging between the Elven Empire and the Qadir Sultanate over the Regalian Archipelago. These lands are now utterly scarred from constant conflict between Regalian nobles who sought to declare independence and then turned on one another. Both the Qadir and Elves, relying heavily on Magic, use the force of the Void so rampant that in one particular battle, it completely tears open the veil between the Void and the Alorian realm, signalling another Void Invasion.

421 AC
The Qadir and Elves completely powerless without their magic and exhausted from fighting one another, utterly collapse as the Void Invasion consumes their lands. One by one continents go dark as demonically twisted beings eradicate all life.

423 AC
The Isles of Yang-Tzu are shielded from the Void invasion by some hybrid form of magic between Primal and Vice magic. The Ch'ien-ji ride out the void invasion.

591 AC
With the void invasion in a distant memory, the Yang-Tzu isles open to the world again and colonize the remnants of the destroyed world. All former races are gone, missing from the world. Some Dakkar still remain deep within the crusts of Gana-Isha. Some Isldar still remain deep in the frosty mountains, but the Ch'ien-ji thrived after the Wulong war ended when mind magic was developed. With their enthralled Wulong Slaves, the Ch'ien-ji build a massive Empire over the course of two millennial which eventually also collapses at the hands of the Void infestations as rampant magic use unleashes yet another Void Invasion. And so the cycle continues on and on, forever.

It is unlikely to ever happen. But what would your character do if the government collapsed? Would they see the dangers coming? How would they act if bread was suddenly no longer available. Would they seize the sword to fight for food? Would they flee to the colonies? How far is your character willing to go to ensure survival? These are all cool things to think about in an almost apocalyptic sense. Never has a radical government transition gone over peacefully. The idea that rebels could just kill a few politicians and re-vitalize Regalia as a democracy without a hitch is a fairy tale. Be challenged to write how you think the collapse of government and ensuing anarchy will affect your character!

57 year old Percy just sitting in his castle, sending letter after letter to the missing Cedric screaming: "I TOLD YOU SO."

But for real I will have to sit down and do this soon.

Oh look. Something I can write while I wait to be freed from that cramped little cage in an Elvish village. Can't wait to get cracking, this is cool!

Bastian would've just indulged himself to death aha jk stay until the end with cousn

Walthur has a ship. His only family is somewhere in the far north on some expedition. He'd realistically see that anarchy would come extremely fast, so he'd sail out with a crew as soon as he could. Probably grab some supplies from coastal towns before they realize the Regal is useless, and then start heading north. No Idea how it ends. Maybe a mutiny, maybe a tempest, maybe nothing at all. I just know he'd be headed out north, away from everything else. He'll probably be dead by the time anything major happens up there, so seems things look alright for him.

Nathaniel would acknowledge the fact that men are corruptible and unstable without restrictions. Naturally though, he wouldn't leave Regalia at first. The first year following the downfall, Nathaniel would consider to operate his shop in the harbor district. He would be sure to keep close to Uffe being that he wouldn't be capable of defending himself. He wouldn't expect to be murdered in the streets and being poor, wouldn't be robbed. Of course during this time his tattoo business would fail without any imports of dyes as it is assumed trade for these resources with Regalia would cease with news of the fall of the government. It wouldn't be until the mass genocide of the other races that Nathaniel would consider leaving Regalia. Of course this is during the winter of 305. He would have to wait till spring to make the journey out. By this time no ship will harbor in the city and therefore Nathaniel will not be able to flee by one. Instead he will likely trade his shop for a wagon and horse. Maybe use Uffe as intimidation, but not robbing whomever he makes the deal with. Once securing a wagon, Nathaniel and Uffe would flee the city and head into the woods. Once there they would make their way to the shore. Nathaniel and Uffe would then construct some sort of shelter near the shore. They would fish for food and that would be all they would need. It is uncertain if Nathaniel would survive the construction or even make it long. He would most certainly die leaving Uffe alone with their camp. At this point Uffe would most likely travel back into the city, seeking out any group to join for protection and purpose. This would be during the Summer of 315. Knowing Uffe this wouldn't last and he would die during a confrontation with a rival group. It wouldn't be a glamorous death. No would even notice, or care for that matter. The legacy of Nathaniel and Uffe would be nothing, a whisper in Regalia's past on lips that will never speak.

I know this topic is mainly directed towwards me, I thought of multiple ways of preventing such horrible acts, on my topic page I purposely put for the people, my character Falil is mostly Diplomatic. Wars would be a last ditch effort, maybe tiny battles, few assassinations and some blood shed. My charcter never planned to assassinate the emperor, and Falil plans to instead turn a majority of his people against him, doing so would most likely force him to resign, he does not wish to eradicate the Regalian Government. I planned this ahead by using real life empires, such as the british empire. The world did not fall apart then. They just kept shifting their power elsewhere. One by one the Empire shrunk because the people revolted. Flalils plan was to just wipe out the Crimson Inquizition, and Viglant Sheild then only to have GRR step in and fill the roll of gaurd in a city of chaos. Enforcing laws and such where the emperor has no more control. After doing so, would most likely hire mercenaries to gaurd the town while GRR tries to make a deal with the Emperor, if lucky would take the northern side of regalia like Rothburg and such, or work out a deal with the emperor about the descriminations and such. That option would most likely fail as I would think he would fight, or trick Falil. Now lets.head back to the part where I said for the people, Falils main prioity is the people and their wishes. He will stop at nothing to have them protected, being said Falils main goal when having a protest or what not is to warn the citizens that there "might" be violence. Of course the people protesting would be part of or protected by my GRR members, if assaults are issued that and oly then do we step in. Now back to what I said a moment ago. Falil would then try and get the Emperor to resign trough "threats" and such. If he does resign Falil would step in and "hopefully" become emperor. This is all in a.perfect world where my way of doing things would be much easier. Now in an unperfect world, lets say the Emperor doesn't give us land, refuses.to cooperate. Falils first reaction would be "protect the people" probably a massive evacuation to northern Regalia. Where Falil would supply funding for houses, tents and rationed food for most people, most likely after seiging rothsburg. He would then move troops towards the castle, where he would make a final.offer. And if that offer fails Falil would have his men retreit cautiosly and return to Rothsburg with the message. Falil now stressed out send out letters to all the neiboring countries that will be a part of this revolution. In exchange for their help he offers them shares of the power in Regalia. Most likely losing his spot as emperor as of now. If the message is accepted by any of the countries, he would proceed with caution towward the gates, he would come with this time, telling his men to proceed with the attack if hes not back in an hour. Hands in the air, would then ask to speak to emperor. If accepted would ask to make a proposition where then decides Falils fate. If declined, he would have magic users and archers fire at the archers. Telling the melee men to hold their positions. Once Archers are taken care of, or when the gate opens. He would rush it, telling a small group.of men to run past some of the Regalian Soldiers. Having these soldiers attack from behind. Flalil would lead a large assault fowards, before entering the.castle with his best men. Having.his men fight those gaurds within the castle. Falil and 6 other men will charge at the emperor, sheilds up to block an any attack present. If he reaches the emperor, he will have him cuffed. He would place his dagger.around the Emperors throat screaming "Continue and he dies." Falil, using what he can to escape the castle, if the regalian Government gives up, Falil would pronouce himself Emperor while.having the Emperor Hostage Falil would imprison the emperor, refraining from having him executed to get "morality" support.

REMINDER: This is not Falils Ultimate plan, this is just to show MonMarty it could maybe be possible. These examples are just theories and hypotheses. Feedback would be apreciated, telling me what would not work, and what I woild be doing wrong

SOURCES: My imagination, and I play a ton of Total War/Civilization and history classes better informing me on fallen Empires and such.

Thanks for Having me, tootaloo.

I wrote this on a phone, let alone I was tired, do not judge my Grammar errors and spelling mistakes. Feedback is appreciated, differing opinions always make a writer write better. Please post about what is wrong with said scenarios, and also please no rude comments or swearing. I allow you critisize and question my statement, maybe you can differ my opinion.

Thank you, im going to bed now....

I know this topic is mainly directed towwards me,

It's not. There have been about 47 or so "Equal Rights", "Vampires r Hooman 2" "Democarcy!" rebellions. Yours just happened to spark a conversation somewhere which resulted in me having this really random idea for a writing prompt.

Jeff and The Redbanes will flee out of Regalia to their little hidden village they own in Teled Methen in the moment it starts probably, Since having money and being weaker (as not fighters).

Ah okay, but let me say one thing. These are all just scenarios. I just want change, been here on the server for a while now (not as long as some) and I notice one thing in particular, there are no major changes. I just plan to make something a bit different, and maybe exiting to someone of another in game race. I have litterly watched people go from Shendar to Ailor, killing off their old characters so they can have some kind of roll in Regalian Society. I get its there choice, but as playing 2 different races such as Shendar and Tigran, I can tell you that the gaurd will believe their word over ours anyday. I get the lore behind it, but it makes life a bit harder for us. Possibly directing this to Scroofy >…> he had his men cut off Falils tail after he was already in jail, also thanks for motivating me to make the Revolution Scroofy if your reading this.

XD

Okay ill be back to check this topic.

Fair points...Don't forget, however, that a character's ideas don't necessarily reflect that player's ideas. I doubt very much that you would do whatever it was that landed Falil in jail to begin with. Billy didn't choose to cut off Falil's tail. His character (don't know name pls no hurt meh) chose to. The guards are characters to. Of course the characters will listen to ailor, they're all racist, and they don't know the players abandoned their old characters.

Tl;dr There's a difference between players and characters.

I also needs must do this study bcuz it's cool

I understand that there is a difference between characters and players, I just so happen to forget what Billy's IC name is. And he suggested it to me OOC. That is why I mentioned it. Billy's Character did not cut off my characters tail he just let it happen. That is why Falil is mad at the Grandmaster, Falil enraged after leaving the jailhouse began forming a revolution. Of course I got this idea from Billy OOC. The tail, and the way I was treated in the cell that day would be a perfect excuse for Falil to form a Revolution. Falils plan.... (SIKE, I'm not going to spoil it cause, it has yet to happen. Join Falil IC to find out ). Anyhow, I just suck at wording things sometimes, especially when I am trying to explain something.

Ready the circus wagons kiddies! I think it would go a little something like this:

"Wait for me Dr. Fong! Wait for me!"

Too many memes, not enough dreams.

Silverhunt's been trying to prepare for a Void Invasion for a while now, or at least be ready for when it comes. He's still loyal and tethered to Alexander, Cedric, and his three students above his own safety, but not so much worried about the survival of the city as a whole. They'll deal with themselves, to him.

He'd likely work with Cedric to ensure them and their own are always fed, and would urge Cedric to flee the city and live abroad, even outside Anglia and in the wilds of Ellador he knows so well, to wait out the many betrayals and deaths. The Bancroft family would be able to go in to whomever takes over (with the possible exception of the Anaheras) and at least gain a small standing in the new city. In the timeline, I don't think Silverhunt would follow Cedric as he sails for paradise, certainly not for all his dies. When Cedric nears death, he'd likely leave him and strike out with Leaf, or alone, to discover what the hell his Isldar family have been up to. In the absence of the Empire, whether he'd dare try and return to them, stay in his hometown in Ellador, or attempt to rise in the Sultanate as a sellsword... Welp, I've not a clue which he'd choose. Probably a little of all. In the end, he'd continue trying to grow strong, as he finally learns to relax and let go of his uppity morals, and enjoy his life.

Reading this was amazing. I want a revolution now. Because it would create so much good role-play.
It would be absolutely chaotic and catastrophic. But it would be so good.
Anyone with me? ;)

{Alva's Survival of the Fall}

Alva suspected the empire would fall, but she didn't expect it to happen in her time. When Alva saw the Empire's head cut clean, she immediately went in hiding, she took her only weapon and dark cloak and mask, she hid in the ally ways of Regalia and the sewers, avoiding anything living, she watched as her friends were slaughtered by ruthless murderers now there was no law. She was forced to kill people that attempted to do the same, she was slowly losing her sanity after five years in the apocalypse. As the famine drew near, Alva hoarded food and wheat, she would even kill for food. As the civil war drew near, she sailed away to her birth home in Daendroc. but she found her house burned down, and destroyed by the void invasion, she ran to see if her parents were fine, they weren't there. Alva looked around to see if anyone else was alive in Daendroc, just more destroyed villages. Alva decided it wasn't safe in Daendroc anymore. Alva turned 40, all her dreams were crushed by the events. Alva' health wasn't at it's most, she was falling to the plague, Alva set sail for Yang-Tzu to hopefully be let in and ride this out, and survive the plague. Alva got to Yang-Tzu, she was very weary from the plague, slowly eating at her, Alva went to seek out a healer. Alva found a healer and was in the clinic for seven days. Alva survived he ill health and built a house in a secluded place in Yang-Tzu, she now was fifty. Alva opened a library near a village. She died at age 70 having a heart-attack not surviving it. Alva's brother heard of her passing, he went to Yang-Tzu to mourn.

oh boy here we go

Rilion Larenel
The Shendar had really not idea what to do; but at least stayed as close as possible with Darion and Muil for the fall of the Government. Though, the first thing would be doing would be seeking out justice in these times; moreso brutally beating whatever commits what would be considered a crime - if laws were still a thing. Of course; being part of the Vigliant Shield - he would have some help in this. Though, had soon had to cower as extermination of other races began - and so; retreated back to Teled Methen until such things were finished. Though, went back to help with the rebellion to keep at least some sort of Order - though he doubts he would've been too much of a help, at this point. Though, began getting tense as the Elven Empire began building itself back up once more - and then attempting to flee into the sewers as the Qadir invade. Probably is able to kill a few of them - as this goes on, Rilion becomes slowly more isolated and paranoid - to the point of attempting to push away everyone else out of fear. Keeps this up until near insanity. Due to the fact that Rilion cut off all contact ( Including Muil and Darion ) - at this point - with no one else to turn to; and since he was unfortunately simply trapped within Regalia - he slowly began to go insane with the chaos; the only thing that kept him on track would be the Justice existling. Though, that was only for some sanity. Rilion turned to cannibalism at one point at the brink of dying - ironically. Though, as most of his former friends would be lost in the back of his mind when this happens. Rilion ultimately snaps and commits suicide after realizing what the world is currently going down into - not wanting to suffer., stabbing himself in the throat.
Rilion dies in the Void Invasion.

Lierin Naekas
After the fall of the Regalian Empire; she saw it fit to ask her dad to get them back to Ithania, lives out the rest of her lazy bum life there at the first chance she's able to get wit her adopted family. Though, still dies in the Void Invasion after being killed by a Void Demon.
Lierin is killed by a Void Demon.

Alyona Vendinin
Alyona gets out, back to Ellador she goes - hopefully dragging along what little friends she had left, anyways. She gets executed for Vampirism at age thirty-two in Ithania, however.
Alyona is executed for Vampirism.
@BloodRedWolf101 @VanCeryneia @ShipIt @sara8903 lets do this pls

House Banastre (as a whole)

Evon Banastre calls arms to any guardsmen that could be of assistance, keeping them close as he finds his own place to call his headquarters, plotting while taking side to whichever had the strongest military force, though only supplying them with minor things as he kept out of the fight, still trying to quietly rally his forces. Henry Banastre would take a blunt approach, sending a minor force at Baric once more, aiming to slaughter him and forge documents of him claiming Henry as heir. Gattsu and Tenmaku, as well as Carl Jonnson and numerous other guards brawled it out once more, though this time Henry had gotten away before he was defeated. He then went into hiding, licking his wounds as he began rallying more criminals to his aid. Baric, seeing possibility in the civil war that brewed, took side with Charlotte Victoria Moselberg's cause, hoping to make use of the connections that were already established during the life of the Silver Key Society. He aimed to gain land to call his own from beneath her, although never succeeded. Warin Banastre died of old age, presumably, as did most of the elder Banastres. Henry, having mustered up enough force, saw a chance to corner Baric and his men as well as most of the family members that supported him. Baric being weakened during the civil war was overtaken, surprised to see most of the cousins that supported him turning to call Henry their leader, as he and his loyal guardsmen were outnumbered. Tenmaku took to casting flame, burning young Lynn alive in a cast of smoke and fire, as Jonnson put a blade through Lukas, ending him quickly. Tenmaku then had gotten dismembered by a brutish guard beside Henry, as Henry managed to have his men surround Carl Jonnson and slowly cave in on him, leaving only a pile of flesh and bone behind. During this time, Gattsu and Baric as well as some others escaped with what little they had left, before being tracked down and murdered. Gattsu, however, took numerous wounds like a champ and strode to Henry before striking him down, all as he was himself struck down. Both Henry and Gattsu died, leaving Baric to bleed out on the scene.

Evon took this chance to convince the rest of the family members to follow him, which they did, and he left Marcel and Orland to be killed despite promising them mercy, as he couldn't have any 'rightful' heirs besides him. Marteyn was slain on the streets to numerous peasants finding him, and Bastiel was killed in combat during the civil war which slowly began to wind down. Evon was left alone as disease began ravaging the streets, so he left Regalia and started a new life which would inevitably be crushed during some minor wars or something.

Yep, basically the family tears itself apart before the remains are torn apart by a third party. Also, this is in no means exactly how characters of House Banastre would act, although it is how I envisioned. I suppose I'll leave the actions up to them, though this was a fun little bit of writing.

@Seidou @EcologicMammal @Tenmaku @starpoo1 @SenileKaboose
The Banastres I've tagged are likely only the ones I've RPed with enough to know how they'd act during a skituation like this.
I may have also missed some people. In both the story and tags.

I still lived the longest

Duval would die, Sarro would probably run and hide away somewhere in wilderness, but eventually die alone (either during or after the void invasion 2.0). Alibaha would thrive on this, until he dies in the void invasion. The Malikamels would probably try to get to the Yang-Tzu islands, probably wouldn't make it but I can dream right? lol
