The Crimson Gear
IC
Based deep in the sewers is a black market, which sells weaponry and armor, as well as fake limbs. It is unknown how they get these materials, but there have been whispers of strange muggings, in which only weapons and materials are stolen. The market always seems to have them, albeit in a new form.
OOC
The Crimson Gear is a gang of criminals in the sewers/slums. A majority of them have a skill in theft. These members then send said items and materials gained from theft to the higher members, who use them to create weapons, and prosthetics, which they then sell for regals. They operate in almost every area of Regalia, however, most of them prefer to stay in the shadier and darker areas.
RANKS
- Grandmaster
- The Grandmaster is in charge of all members, even the captains. They make the major decisions for the gang, and mostly stay within the shadows. The grandmaster is a Vilitatei Dwarf, too badly disfigured to leave his tent, only able to create plans for new weaponry and creations
- Captain
- Captains are in charge of any member below them, and the more tactical side of fights. They are allowed to go into fights with other members, but usually plan out decisions the Grandmaster cannot. Should the Grandmaster be unable to work, Captian Riressil or Yantho will take his place. Any race can be accepted as a Captain, should they work for the role. Except for Lampar.
- Officers
- Officers are in charge of the Skulkers, and Yogore, ordering them around in battles. As well as this, most healers will be Tacticians, due to their incredible usefulness on the battlefield. Strangely enough, stronger races are accepted, as Tacticians usually work well as natural walls or sieging weapons. Races normally accepted as Officers include: Dakkar, Isldar, Songaskia, Orc, and Avanthar.
- Merchant
- A merchant is in charge of selling items to other criminals across the sewers and slums. They usually give orders to Skulkers, due to them being in charge of gaining materials. Normally, they have a partnership with Yogore, as they create important weapons for them to sell. Races normally accepted as Merchant include: Dwarves, Slizzar, Ailor, Ch'ien-Ji, Shendar and Nelfin.
- Yogore
- Yogore are in charge of creating the items merchants sell. Usually they will use materials gained from Skulkers to create new weaponry, armor, and even alchemy, to sell to criminals across the lands. Most Yogore aren't capable of fighting, and don't decide to join battles. However, Yogore are able to order Skulkers. Races normally accepted as Yogore include: Dwarves, Qadir, Al-Allar, Ch'ien-Ji and Altalar
- Skulker
- Skulkers are the grunts of the gang, in charge of robbing anyone with cool-looking items. Most skulkers travel in packs, looking for people with rare or nice metals to steal from. And of course, people to enslave. Races normally accepted as Skulkers include: Everything except for Lampar. Normally Rashaq, Varran and Wolathar are treated better in the Skulker ranks.
IC rules
OOC rules
- You may not attack another member, unless ordered to by a captain.
- You may not steal from another member
- Any corruption found within our ranks must be sent to Yogore or the Grandmaster respectively. Refusal to do so will result in punishment.
- No discussions of religion.
- No racism towards other members when in the vision of higher officers.
- All funds gained from selling items require that 10% is given to the gang. The rest is given to the person who sells it, and whomever assisted them in gaining and creating the materials.
- Do not badmouth or insult above-ranking members
OOC rules
- No encouraging of metagaming. Giving out information to metagamers is going to simply lead to metagaming. As well as this, do not ask for information that can lead to metagaming.
- No starting drama with other members in the Skype chats.
- No God-RPing, Metagaming, or Powergaming
- Do not get angry over IC things OOCly. If your character loses a fight, fair and square, ICly, do not get salty OOCly.
- Do not be toxic to other players.
- Flaking. Life gets busy, that's understandable. We're perfectly fine with planned members absences, but that's still planned. Please do not disappear for an indefinite amount of time without telling the gang. If you are gone for 2-3 weeks, suspension may be considered.
Character Application (Not required, but preferred, if none, put a description of your character)
Skype? (Not required, but preferred):
Why do you want to join OOCly?:
IC Letter to the Grandmaster (Essentially, have your character state their reasons for joining, and boast about their skills. If the character is illiterate, keep in mind there are scribes that can be used. If the character is poor- you're out of luck.)
