• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

What Tenses do you Use?

I am tentatively posting this in General forums as opposed to Help forums because this isn't really a question, but rather me gauging opinions and somewhat curious on how people like to word their roleplay. I myself have used present tense in roleplay for several years, however I have seen past tense (less often) as well as future tense (more often) so far in my time on the server.

Examples:

Future- Charleigh would eat the diaper

Present- Charleigh eats the diaper

Past- Charleigh ate the diaper

Which tense do you prefer to use? I myself am not a fan of how the future tense sounds, it feels a little awkward to me in Roleplay, and I think that thinks make the most sense in the present tense. However if future is the norm on this server, I will switch over to to make things consistent.

Personally, I always use present tense and save future tense for actions that require another roleplayer's agreement or reaction.

I personally use present tense, although I have been considering moving to past tense since I sometimes find present a little difficult to not sound boring / repetitive.

From my experience there seems to be a fairly even balance throughout the server, but past and present are most common!

I use present and future.
Cayd attempts to avoid the swing, and if the blow was slow enough he would try grab the attacker's arm and attempt to pull it downward.
