• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Ever since the recent rule changes for alt factions, I've had a lot of thought about the required addition of "AF" at the end of the faction name.

My suggestion, in short, is to remove the requirement to put "AF" at the end of the faction's name, and instead have AF, ALT FAC, or ALT FACTION (or something similar) in the faction's description.

Though having "AF" at the end of the name doesn't really hurt much, it would just streamline the names a bit and allow for a bit more creativity in coming up with an alt fac name without it looking clunky. (Maybe it's just me, but having "NameAF" looks a lot worse than just "Name")

Totally agree, when I first arrived I read alternative faction names as "Name As F***", that's the usual reading I get from the abbreviation "AF" :')

It breaks immersion and doesn't look pretty. But I assume it's been put in place to prevent alternative factions playing sneaky, at least this way everyone sees who this faction belongs to.

Agree, it's pretty jarring to see AF everywhere, for anyone who actually needs to know, such as staff, they can check the /f f, but for normies it'd be pretty confusing.

I see no reason to oppose this. Only requires people to do an extra /f f.

Totally agree with this, just require them to put something in their description like (Alt Faction) at the end of their /f desc. The AF in the names definitely isnt a major problem, but it just looks so gross to me lol

lel still says its under review, but it was implemented like a couple months ago. Just fyi @mods
