• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Who wouldn't want their very own airship in massive? I mean seriously, it would be fantastic right? "But wait, can't you only do that with client side mods?" Not anymore!

This plugin adds the ability to craft PvP airships which are (you would think it would be laggy but with sharding coming up, this may be possible) apparently lag free. This is my small input for the month or so. I know it's probably a terrible idea, but hey, why not just post right :P

It's a good idea if you make it like a hot air ballon like the airships for Ellador. Otherwise, it doesn't seem like a good idea. I can see when airships can get out of hand. It will look to modern. I can see people adding a boat plug-in for their ships, but not airships. This is a fantasy role play server. And since when does a warrior with a diamond sword get on his airship and fly into the sunset? I admit, it's a good idea. It's just too modern, and it'll ruin the role play of the server.

We already have R.A.D.I.O and nonmoving airships, so what's that about "...it's to modern"?
 
I agree with the airship ruining the role play of the server.

If airships do get added on the other hand.
The build requirements and the command block to control it is a good idea.
Though since they are supposed to look like air balloons if anything.
If a ship is shot by a cannon it should actually blow the affected part up.
This allowing the pieces to fall.

If the command block is hit all the pieces break and fall as well.

Cannons can be placed on ships.
 
I can imagine 1. Kamakazi attacks on spawn 2. Dirt planes
 
This plugin poses too many risks for our server protection plugins and would have to be completely reverse engineered to fit. The cons outweigh the pro's and as such, I must reject and lock this thread even though it looks like a cool idea.
