• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

i occasianally play massive craft and ive seen over time that the playerbase has died out most of the big teams such as asteria volary and a bunch more have left and either joined a new server or made a new server which is beacause massive just isnt as fun as it used to be currently im sitting on so much armor tools and regals and i was planning on buying a shop but i just dont think itl be worht it with such an unactive playerbase the rise and fall of massive is a story someone whos been on longer than me should make

I share your lament at Massive's decline. I first started playing on the server when I was 12 and now I am 23. The server declined for a variety of reasons - some controllable others not. But hey, no matter how short or long you've played on the server, all of us have fond memories of it which is something to be grateful for :).

There really is no other server like Massive in terms of its history or playstyle, which is another reason I am glad to have found the server. Factions isn't dead yet - though it does feel moribund - don't give up hope!

I think that side of the server was always going to decline over time, lacks a lot of the things that modern players want in a factions server that is anathema to how massive is played

Plus factions as a whole is kind of a dead/dying genre in minecraft

It's sad isn't it, to see the slow decline of one section of this great community. You were once a bastion of strength in the survival community, railing against the neglect that it experienced from senior management. Your transition to the roleplaying community is an apt allegory for the fall of MassiveCraft factions.

How times change.

It's truly lovely to see old familiar friends again!

The story of MassiveCraft is not over yet ,and an old tree that is chopped down may send up new shoots from a deep root system
