• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

So i was wondering the other day there has been alot of very strong and large factions but which has been the best over the years?
 
Alamut at there peak a year or so ago. Imo
 
9th like 2 years ago? Not sure, Mag had some very large power once (With the undead Rp and stuff) . But you see the power come and go and most of the big factions corrupt because of: Inactivity, uneven opinions within the faction and straight up betrayel.
 
Now I remember! Kalahari like 1.5 years ago with the war against 9th and Alamut. We owned that shit!
 
To be honest there isn't a "strongest" because the big time PvP factions are all equal in strength. Of them, names that stick out are: Raptum, Alamut, Damorn, Magnanimous, 9thLegion, Auxillian, Argonia, Algaron, Badru, and Valyria. Really, most of these factions are the same people working under different names.
 
Honestly, most of the old factions versus the factions of today would get their faces kicked in because of the huge increase in skill and knowledge about PvP. A lot of the old PvPers weren't that good at PvP really, they were just better than most everyone else at PvP on MassiveCraft. Of course, there are some exceptions though, such as SoTotallyAce.
 
Alamut has always held a semi-sacred place in my memories as a powerful PvP faction. Not to discount all the other ones, but yeah I have fond memories of watching them murder things.
 
When you put factions together of who was really the strongest its more than just skill and weapons and armor. Its their allies to may of helped make that faction stronger. There may of been the strongest faction ever on the server but every faction that existed had another faction that was equal in strength. Ex. Mag vs Alamut was pretty close to even, Argonia and Arthain were even and some others. So meh i dont think their really could be one strongest faction, pvpers jump sides and faction alot.
 
The Serenum empire had a good deal of influence in its day. Not sure if they were really any good at PVP, though.
 
The strongest faction on Massive is always the strongest faction at current. Past factions cannot compare because the the environment was different, political stability and warfare in present day is much harsher than it used to be, so the only true "strongest faction ever" must be one that is currently alive.

Which one that is, I have no idea, and I don't even want to get into that debate.
 
Dont start arguing about the current strongest faction that will cause too much flame
 
During the Solaris war, they were certainly the strongest... During Imperials war, Valyria... Then there's always been strong factions that have slowly died over time due to inactivity like Alamut, 9thLegion...

I don't think that there is or will be a "single" best PvP faction.

I think that, today, Damorn is the strongest only because they are more organized than Magnanimous appears to be (see: any raid on Valorian ever). However, in terms of raw power, Magnanimous still hold the first place position I think.
 
Can confirm. SandCo. Zack needs to be emperor of the server. There would be no more deserts.

However warfare was a lot more organized, these days you barely know who was in which faction. Barely anyone these days dedicate themselves to a faction, instead a community of people which gives some benefits but some issues, it is one of the reasons we don't see powerful factions stick around for a long time, like Ridenval (if thats right) for example.

In my opinion, Magnanimus has been the faction to make the most impact on the server strength and pvp wise. The days of the undead rp things were definitely game changing however the imperial's could have equal importance or greater to the server's player history.
 
I like how everytime I make enemies, it is writh the wrong people. I mean I would suspect they would act sportive about it, but no they just disagree my posts to flame on me @Coleman2225
 
Its really hard to be humble about this, but yes, Sandco has been reaching new heights unmatched by any other faction. Just take a look at some achievements we've had recently.

Currently damorn/raptum/Solaris id say hold the most power among the server through their little alliance thing
 
@Wannag So I guess Stonejrod's fireballs and arrows don't exist? Also I am a non prem right now thats why I am not fighting
 
Only the Canadian's left for Damorn, to this day they still haven't given me a valid reason for leaving, and they did so right after I became leader, which is something they wanted... @Yoloorange @Waminer @MagicalWetToast why you leave ;(

@MazzerDK is inactive because... idk really I'm not sure why
@Asmodeus35 is inactive because he isn't the leader anymore so he just wants to play Guild Wars 2 or something :P
