• Regalian Roleplay Rules

    1. Roleplay rules apply in this category.
    2. Posts are in-character.
    3. Posts are not anonymous.
    4. Posts and reactions made to posts are public. What your character says or does is known by all other characters. If you would like a reaction to be private, do not post it as a public response to a thread. Roleplay it out on the server!
    5. Out-of-character commentary on threads is not allowed unless it is specifically spoiled or bracketed, and/or highlights additional information for in-character responses.
    6. Meme responses are not allowed. This includes reposting the same content as the poster(s) above, or repeating catch phrases on a post.
  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

A set of instructions established for the proper
conduct of officially recognized duels.

A reminder: not all duels are officially recognized.
Usually only those of greater significance or purpose.

1) Before the Duel
Secure a doctor to be present at the location.
Agree on whether or not dulled or live weapons are to be used.
Agree on equipment allowed to either side.
Agree on whether or not Magic is to be used. If one party refuses, Magic cannot be used.
Set boundaries for the ending of a fight. Appropriate boundaries include:
First Blood.
A fixed number of strikes, up to 5.
Until yield.
2) During the Duel
Observe general Knightly protocols. These include:
Do not strike from behind.
Do not use poisoned weapons.
Do not strike a downed opponent.
Do not force an opponent out of the ring.
3) Forbiddances
Striking after a fight reaches its terms and ends is assault and will be prosecuted.
Murder and attempted murder remain illegal and will be prosecuted.
Irreversible bodily damage including removal of limbs and eyes remains illegal and will be prosecuted.
Grotesque Magic and body horror are forbidden in State Duels and should be settled off grounds.
4) Additions
Knights or Nobles may choose to declare an 'honor duel' dedicated to their Orders or Families.
Honor Duels are without Magic unless both participants are Aelrrigan.
Additional Order Code stipulations are encouraged to be introduced.

Additions or clarifications to this rulebook should be forwarded to the Honor Minister.
