◈ Life Story / Plot Hooks

• Son Se-Jeong was born in an impoverished region of Dexai to a craftsman struggling to make ends meet and a wearisome mother.
  
  
• Sejeong, growing older, refused to take up his father's trade. Despite his protests, he was tossed into an apprenticeship by the age of 13 to help his father put food on the table.
  
  
• His Heiyan employer, Qijin Liu, was a friend of Sejeong's father, and had offered to take the boy under his wing. It turns out he had much more to offer him than mere craftworking, being a prolific Zisha Clay engineer.
  
  
• Sejeong would frequently peddle some of his own products made during his spare time on the streets. As shoddy as most of his work was, he'd eventually develop a level of salesmanship his father desperately needed.
  
  
• As he grew into his late teens, Sejeong would begin to take his skills elsewhere, starting with the other Kingdoms. He found little success in the beginning.
  
  
• While visiting the region of Geudang, he took note of the worsening economic crisis there, which he would take advantage of. His salesmanship caught the eye of a local crime family, the Chisai Warui.
  
  
• Sejeong had fallen to the temptation of the Chisai Warui, taking up a role in the family in the exchange for the promise of making him a world renowned businessman. Years had passed, and the family would move to Regalia in search of opportunity during the Winter of 312 AC.
