• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The abyss. duh.
Okay so, me being the random person as I am. I thought of a cool idea, and that is what if the wiki had a page of showing race skin templets? Of course the player who is making a character doesn't have to follow the templet but for all those skinners out there which are trying to make a new race or is just having a hard time making a skin for their char could use the templet as sorta like a guid line to help.

For example, when the Url came out I had litterly no clue how to do their heads, and make them have a bull appearance. I struggled some making the gosh thing but soon ended up be able to. But the process would've been much easier to actually look at a already done Url skin.

Anyways that is just my random idea for the day, I know it probably won't happen, but I thought it would just be cool if I let the idea out there.

I feel a lot of those animal-like races such as Varran, Maiar, and Thylan (excited), deter a lot of people due to the efforts of creating a decent looking skin-- I wish I was as strong as those people who can throw something together in ten mins and not pay much attention to detail and just.. roleplay. Nonetheless, I like how you put the template idea as optional, and I figure that this would put a lot more people out there on the server willing to play a lot of these not-so-known races within Regalia.

+1

A lovely man named Mac made a bunch of races already, so we're sort of on the way there. Click here for the thread.

As for Url, their heads are pretty difficult to skin. I personally went on planet Minecraft and looked up how those were made, and made my own from there. Search up Minotaur and sift!

A wiki page dedicated to skin making would help a lot of beginners, but it's ultimately up to Lore or Direction to put it up there.

I hate to be the naysayer, but I feel like this would spur unoriginality. Chances are, more people would play with minimal edits to the template, and you'd have a bunch of clones running around.

Unless some regulations were put in place, or the templates were black, white and grey rather than colored.

Yeah this is sorta what I MENT. It doesn't have to be colored. Just simple templets which could guide some new skinners or People who are wanting to get a skin to guide them onto what they want or how it is going to look

Personally, a Shendar, ahem, I mean Kathar, (I hate that change, and disagree completely, but that's for another day) template, or at least detailed skin creation guide would be beneficial to those players. Perhaps I should begin work on Kathar clan templates.
