• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Cayorion says he is looking for good skin makers who can maybe work as part of the Massivecraft team to make skin packs for the server. Sounds interesting?
 
Wow, I've always wanted to directly help the server out...Is there an application or certain requirements for this?
 
I'd have to discuss it with Cayorion more in depth, but he said this morning he was looking for people with usefull skills and directly mentioned skin creation, meanwhile I do that, keep pumping out skins here so he can take a look at it.

How much lighter and when you say "A maiar leader" do you want to have a crown or what?
 
I'm making an elven skin pack at the moment for Favoured, it consists of five skins, going to post it by Thursday.

I'm going to leave your application to Justin, as I am undecided on this. None of the two skins really stands out in my eyes. I'll think about it, but Justin can also take care of this.
 
I feel the same way as Imboring if you could possibly post 1 more of your skins and if it is good then your application will be accepted.
 
Jomdorr, don't try to spam this thread with not needed information. If you are trying to become a designer, fill out the application and please only post a few skins. I don't see how this helps the thread in any way. These links are for the skin show-case, not for the skin request thread. So please edit or delete your post.

And Epic, you need to have an RP theme for the skin. Your first one looks like a gangster, and the second one is one that I can easily download from the Internet. Probably not the exact same one, but a similar figure. Make it more unique, add extra additions or colors or it, make it blend/constrast more, depending on which style you want.
 
Plus nobody wants to look at skins in that format.
 
I feel that this is an improvement from what you had previously posted and I am willing to accept you a skin maker, but I would like to first hear what Imboring thinks.

Jomdorr has good skin making skills when you place what he's put in proper format. Although, if you're looking to showcase your skins, Jom, you should post them here: Skin Show-Case! | MassiveCraft Forums

You can use MC Skin Editor and upload your skins to take proper screen shots of them. You have some good and creative design. Just make them properly. :)

Also, you can remove the post yourself by using the delete option on the bottom left side of your posts.
 
ive put them up in the wiki bit :) there in the right place now, but only half are there ill do the other half ina bit :P and thanks for the link
 
MonMarty is bringing sexy back. In other words, Tax is wondering if he can assist with this skin creation thing. My Rainbow Dash skin is originally from the Mine Little Pony mod, but I thought it looked hideous, and changed the mane and outlines a bit. Should probably start making a default skin for the quiversheath that I'm working on. Love this post, and the skins are great. I fully support this idea.
 
Justin, I fully agree with you. The skin looks like a barbaric elf, which is unique and different from all the other boring elven princess and archer skins I've seen. I'll add his name and link to the designers. Epic, you are free to take anybody's future request. As I see it, it is first come first serve :)

And Tax, once you are done, feel free to submit a designer application. I hope that more people will want skins; it would certainly increase demand for skin designers.

Skin Details: Dark red hair and eyes like my forum picture, no mouth. Light, tan colored skin. Slightly pointed ears for half-elven lineage with lapis blue earing on the left ear. I would like armor that is dark (almost black) red with a trim of gold/yellow. Armor is torso, shoulder guard, arm guards, hip guards, shin guards/boots. Undershirt (under the armor) should be like a grayish-black long-sleeve shirt. That way people can know who's open and who's not.

Done with my first ever skin pack! Made for Favoured, it is completely made out of different elvish figures. Such as a king, queen, knight, and so much more! There are two female skins and four male skins, so anybody of any gender may use this. I've also decided instead of posting it in a .zip format or posting all of the links, I'll just post my wardrobe. You'll find those elven skins there.

I was thinking like a cloak a secretive person would wear, more black than anything. So the purple cloak in black would be nice.
