• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

~vVv~ The Lessons ~vVv~
You enter the theatre of Regalia, looking around being fairly inquisitive to your surroundings. You find yourself In the small area between the seats, you look to the stage to notice a few people upon the stage thinking to yourself *They seem rather important, nonetheless they're up on the stage, before all of us,* you look back to eye the seating noticing dozens of people sitting down, you investigate further to see a few people watching you, seeming as if they're to investigate who'd entered the room, as they eye you for a moment they shake their head turning back to the stage as you hear Senator Marie Beauveret begin to speak, "Hello and welcome to the first role-play school lesson!" A small smile makes its way across your face as you make your way to a seat towards the back of the room making sure you can still hear the teachers, a bit sad that the seats in front of you had been taken so early.
"Welcome esteemed students! Today is your first lesson, or rather the beginning of your schooling in which we'll be covering the items in which we believe to be amiss in Regalia. The reasons for starting this school was fairly simple, we just believe that everyone should have an even education and should all feel as if they, themselves have the possibility to become a scholar in the fine art of socialization. We will be covering the following:
  • How to act in a public setting.
  • How not to act in a public setting.
  • How to act towards nobles.
  • How not to act towards nobles.
  • How to react when arrested.
  • How not to react when arrested.
  • How to begin a small role-play with someone.
  • How to react in extreme situations, etc...
  • How to act when just wondering the streets.
  • What kind of dialect to use.
  • The several races, and how to be lore-compliant.
We will be covering several more topics, as seen fit by our several teachers. We will take questions later!" She turns around, nodding her head to the people behind the stage as they begin to walk out, "Meet your teachers!" She begins to point to each with her parasol, naming the person, and describing what they will be covering.
Teachers:
Lady Rose : Will be covering it all in general, besides magic.
BabaManga : Will be covering most of it all in general.
Green_Hood : Will be covering how to be lore-compliant, and how to use magic.
Cronus : Will be covering a few role-play rules.
Mattium_ : Will be covering it all in general.
robbiey3 : Will be covering how to use magic, and how to role-play a good fight.
Cassie : Will be covering rules, and lore-compliance.
Ryciera : Will be covering vampirism questions, evil role-play question, and how to spice up role-play.

This thread is both, in character, and out-of-character. Ex: We will respond with actions and words, but we wont really be in character, if you understand what I'm saying. [[Yes it's rather complicated.]]
We request that your respond with your questions in role-play format, we will correct your role-play, and add to what you could've said, as well as answer your question. Please do not spam the thread, nor do not swear/harass etc... the teachers, for we're here on volunteer, we do not need to do this, but wish to help you.

~vVv~ The Class Room ~vVv~
Situated in the upper part of Regalia, near one of the streams of water, lays the large Globe Regalian Theatre. It has extreme beauty and craftsmanship, and holds dozens of people within it. On the inside there are about 200 people attending each lesson, feeling the room close up, you find a seat in the room.

((To clarify, is it straight questions being asked here? Or is it in response to posts we can expect from tutors?))

~vVv~
Noticing the small group of students mumbling to each other, barely audible they were. She walks up to them, tilting her parasol in their direction tapping the little ledge in front of them, "Would you like to share anything with the class miss katiesc or miss Sven Tu, or perhaps you sir Oxoman ?" She retracts her parasol, letting it fall to the ground, as she begins to lean on it with her left hand gripping the embezzled handle of it, raising an eyebrow to them, leaning in slightly as she interrogates them in front of the class, so to embarrassed them in front of the children, as so they don't do it again. "Hmmh, come now speak."

Natalee, though a bit taken aback by the sudden attention thrust upon herself and the others, immediately speaks as she already had a question prepared.
"If someone starts doing something obviously non-lore compliant, do we play along or ignore it?"
Natalee pauses for a moment before deciding to clarify.
"Like if we're talking to someone and stuff and things are fine but suddenly they reveal that they have some kind of secret power and use it."

Nods along with Sven Tu, as if to agree to the question. Glancing about the room, her face flushed with embarrassment from the attention. Turning her attention toward the ground, nervously fingering the end of her sleeve.

~vVv~
Noticing the girls intelligent question, she begins to answer with a prompt response Sven Tu , "If someone where to per-say use un-lore-compliant skills or talents, I would suggest you just /msg them and give them a little tip on what not to do, or perhaps direct them to the lore pages. If they continue, the guards would probably be your best bet, but never start an out-of-character fight with them, try to keep your [[]] (()) {{}} usage to a minimum, it helps keep a good atmosphere around you. Also, for when you're talking, pronounce yourself better, and use colors to differentiate from when you're talking and committing an action, for it's easier for everyone to understand." She nods to her, then to katiesc then turns to the last one, "Well anything that you need to ask?" Situates herself over a tad, tapping her parasol against the ground *bump* as she puts herself in front of last outspoken child. Oxoman

Noticing the lady's scornful glare (Anthony?) looks at the teacher, his cheeks a deep shade of purple. Unintentionally, he makes eye contact before realising his mistake and, whilst staring at his feet, he takes quick steps towards a seat, taking care to sit with grace and dignity, if one is able to sit as such; he's somewhat frustrated that he's already lost much dignity.

~vVv~
Jumping at the loud child, she gives him a snarl Sisley_ , "Wait a moment, please! Also, next time reply with a 'role-play' response as requested!" Irritated by his oblivious question, for it could really mean anything, and he hadn't responded in a correct manner in which to grab the teachers attention she shakes her head slightly, and turns back to the boy in front of her.

Quickly sitting down on the chair beside her, gazing toward their teacher. Still somewhat shaken from the amount of attention the teacher placed on the three.

~vVv~
Nodding at Oxoman giving him a small smile to show that she didn't mean to embarrassed him so much, she starts to speak with a warm/inviting voice , "Dear no need to repeat your actions so much, you cant really sit with dignity, rather explain what your character did before he sat, as in: 'She looked to the seat, shrugging slightly as she pulled out her dress, fixing it slightly as she plopped down, looking around to see if anyone had seen her.' It adds a marvelous effect to your role-play and enhances it greatly."

{{I simply must join in now- I need a lot of work. My roleplaying abilities were second-hand from my sister Poof… not that she didn't teach me well… it just wasn't through enough >~< I'm a bit spacy}}
Clary took in a breath, looking up at the elegantly-dressed woman, craving an ounce of attention, as she was ignored usually- just simply in general. "Umh… Uh!" She stuttered, grinning sheepishly at her mistake, and rubbed her left foot against her right leg's ankle. "I- I'd like to know how to act in front of high officials, either as a commoner female child, or a lesser noble female… Is there a specific way to act?" She paused in between her questions, "And- do you have any tips or pointers in how to react to people's actions, or if they are assaulting you?" Clary tried to keep her poise, despite the way her cheeks were heated.

William silently enters the auditorium (( Please correct me if I'm wrong )) and takes a seat towards the back, noticing the teacher getting onto the other students, he moves up closer to get a better view of what is going on.

(( I suppose I could join in. ))

he walks into the room late, holding multiple books in hand, hoping no one would notice him. He looks for a seat to find, seeing a few familiar faces.

Yvette's eyes travel up toward BrunchingPadre's nervous face, patting the seat next to her. Mouthing his way "Come over here." Glances around the room, her eyes narrowing on the teacher once again.

~vVv~
Smiles to the woman/girl, and gives her a bright smile, walking back up onto stage, "As ConfinedPandora had asked, the way to address or act around a high official is fairly simple, due to their extreme level of power in Regalia, your character would most likely stay out of their way, or greet them with a warm response, trying to get on their good side no matter what. In these times being friends with the nobles/officials would be a great feat, and rather a good one at that. If your character is a bit shy, I would suggest getting out of their way, or mayhaps stutter when talking to them, for your character would be slightly scared to talk to such a high official." She broadcasts her voice loudly, making sure that she's heard in the slightly vociferous room, she taps her parasol to make a loud noise, as for the next question, "When being assaulted I'll have robbiey3 take the floor, for she knows much more about said topic, also a slight warning, all of the out-of-character replies we can all hear, I suggest you don't make such replies for it's simply a waste of all of our time!" She nods to the class, giving them a slight wave, moving to the back of the stage, standing in the line with the other teachers.

Tabitha Ariu hurries into the room, and finds an empty seat at the front. She sits down and hopes that nobody notices that she's late. She then raises her hand.

shrugs, still hoping Lady Rose doesn't notice her. He walks over to Yvette and sits down next to her, panting rather hard. After all, such a run would wear a man out. He sets his books under his chair, hoping he wouldn't need them for at least now.

~vVv~
Noticing the actions from most the of the students she curtly responds, "You're all dong a marvelous job with your seating, though please, do go into more detail! Do not be afraid of explaining even the most detailed of things!" She then nods to the crowd, making her way to the girl, as she approaches the small girl, she makes her way around the ledge, putting herself near the person, Duskembyr leaning in slightly, "Hmmh? What's your question?"

((I will be monitoring this thread and clearing it up of troll posts, spam, etc.))

~vVv~
Has a small thought cross her mind, dismissing herself from the girls presence, "I'll be right back.." she wonders off to the stage of the theatre, she makes a small noise *ahem* and begins to speak in a loud vociferous way, "If you believe anyone to have a beautiful role-play response, please give them a thumbs up, or maybe support your teachers with some winners and thumbs up, remember they're volunteering their time!" She dismissing herself, walking back over to the girls side, giving her a small nod to speak, "Well begin."

"Well, I was wondering what about what you do when somebody walks up to you and magically knows your name without asking for it first. Would you just let it slide?"

slightly raises his hand, then puts it down, then putting it up again. Not knowing whether is question would be worthy or not.

~vVv~
Nods to her, pondering her question for a moment, "Well if someone where to do such a thing, I would just /msg them about their error, and just ask them to re-enact the scene, or just go along with it, or have him pretend he/she's heard someone call your name before." Smiles to her, giving her a small pat, she makes her way to the stage, Cassie "Would you mind helping me out?" Gives a small laugh to her, closing her eyes, blowing out her nose silently.

~vVv~
BrunchingPadre Eyes the man slightly raising an eyebrow and letting out a small snort, nodding to Cassie she walks over to the boy, "Hmmh, before you ask your question, I suggest you use a more detailed action, and perhaps work on your capitalization and grammar, that's all, now please ask..?"
