Literally Me.

Y'know, sometimes you just need one art thread that you continually update.
Other times, you sit down and make your seventh. This is one of those other times.

I'm Rinus! I'm a student illustrator and I've been around massivecraft on and off for the last 6 or so years, and in that time my art has changed considerably. I have the unfortunate habit of not playing for about 6 months or so at a time, which means my art threads get very dated, very fast.

I do a lot of worldbuilding as a way to relax because I'm a massive nerd and a lot of my art in the last few months has been based around some personal lore I've been doing that I have no idea what to do with.

I also have commissions open in my shop here

I just think a flower beard would be a neat look.

Also, I was super interested in the lore for Undead people and the Bone King, so I decided to paint him. I've still no idea what sort of undead he is so I just went p generic with it.

I really love your stuff, its got a real unique style to it, like idk it reminds me kinda of something like the edge chronicles, you should go have a gander at some of the artwork for those books, I think you'd enjoy it, the stories also hold a ton of worldbuilding over the duration and whatnot so it might be up your alley, also perhaps, spiderwick chronicles? -- The uh, crappy Nickeloden movie-- I guess-

Anyway, its all great that you've done so far, I'm not lore-staff, or anything close, but if you need someone with help to bounce some Massivecraft lore at you - My discord is ZiggyStarDusted#9372, or just to chat, whatever. :>

Spiderwick's actually one of my biggest influences! Not the movie, which was pretty bad because they condensed multiple books into one film, but the artwork and storyline of the actual books themselves, and the Field Guide which I bought when I was like 7 and still bring out to gawk at today. Tony Diterlizzi is an art god, and that series really started my obsession with the folklore of Britain and Ireland.

what do u use to make art,, also any art tutorials you'd recommend?
I use Procreate on the ipad pro with the apple pencil. In terms of art tutorials, my typical go-to people at the moment are Sinix and Marco Bucci. Both of them deal with colour and design theory in a way I find really fun and engaging. Proko is also really good, especially for beginners.

Goddd I take too long to make posts.
Hey, here's some stuff I've been working on.
Here's @Nitroflak 's orc!

As requested, some traditional work! I typically do my college work in traditional media.
