• Character Sheets are optional on MassiveCraft. You do not need a sheet to play or be whitelisted on our server. You only need a sheet if you plan to engage in roleplay combat.
  • Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, weโ€™ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

  • CORE CONCEPT
    Osira is a former member of the Regalian Military. She served during the initial Hadar War and became convinced that the Empire is not ready for much of the greater threats to its borders such as the Allorn Empire or Sendrass. She turned to Evolism with the intention of earning or taking powers to supplement her own strength which she can leverage in future battles.
  • RELIGION
    1746027727463.webp
    Osira is a Herad-Ikon of Evolism who aspires to bargain with her favoured God, Triton the Dragon of Envy. She believes that by combining the powers of the Dragons with her innate Mageborn powers she can evolve into a being (like Triton) whose power is amplified, as opposed to restricting herself to one or the other as most peoples of Aloria do.
    Osira became an Evolist following the Sendrassian War where she recognised that The Empire is not yet equipped for a full-on fight with its hostile neighbours (such as the Allorn Empire to the West and Sendras to the East) and has ambitions of expanding the military might of the Regalian Empire so that it can stand against the coming tide.

|| VISUAL INFORMATION ||
| COMMON APPEARANCE |
Bright, uplifting and comforting: Bright golden eyes gently glow with a pristine set of features from her forehead to her chin to reflect the classic Teledden appearance with the twist of her eye colour.
She stands short compared to her Elven brethren at just five feet & seven inches. Her complexion is much closer to Teledden than Kathar with only one scar to mention which is often hidden- It is a ring-shaped scar around her entire left upper forearm.
Her hair is kept clean and long bright blonde with bangs, although she does tie it up for the sake of remaining practical. She has easily distinguished Elven ears.
Osira is commonly seen in bright and shining armor of white and golden colours. Currently, she has no loyalty to ancestral or cultural fashion and can just as likely be seen in gold and white clothes as she would be seen in red and black clothes (signalling her devotion to Evolism).
| SUMMARY OF APPEARANCE |
| Eye Color |
Bright and welcoming golden eyes- Notably non-Arkenborn.
| Hair Color |

    Osira leans on her faith and magic to dominate in combat. Whilst appearing similar to a Knight and wielding a greatsword primarily to deliver damage to her foes, she takes advantage of the extraplanar powers at her disposal to gain an advantage.

  • ARTIFACTS & COLLECTIBLES
    1746023931243.webp
    Osira was the third in recent history to own Talnalle 'the Thunderclap', following after an Argentum and then Elsys Serevanlys in Amontaar during 314 AC. Her actions led to the execution of the latter by the the Sol of Amontaar.

    She now possesses the Skystrike Blade - A sword not disimilar to Talnalle. It is her weapon of choice and has saved her life. The artifact is stylised after Triton with black scales and red eyes in addition to a combination of Draconist and Abyssal runes along the length. Its original 'flared' end is now has more serrated to increase its slashing potential such as in the image to the left.

    <
    Permanant Mechanic >

    Skystrike's wielder is immune to the effects of Mechanics that have to do with affecting or peering into the mind of the wielder. This would make the user immune to for example Mind Control, or other Mechanisms that can read and influence the emotions or feelings of the wielder.
    1746023887442.webp
    Osira purchased Meselya from a player character in the later portion of 314 AC. She was not known to have performed any particular feats with the ring, however. In time, Meselya abandoned Osira to continue its work, leaving behind a Power Ring.

    < Permanent Mechanic >

    The Power Ring grants the wielder access to Val-Ilaรฏ's Gardens, a pocket sanctuary in Lathan (instance Region) that can be accessed via a magical door created with the Artifact (Contact Staff to move it). The door cannot be opened by any means, only the wielder, anyone they let in, and the Estelley Gods can open the door, no one else can break in without permission. While within the Gardens, they can suspend (not remove, just pause) the effects of any player-applied Curses, including Custom Kit Prized Curses. Curse effects immediately re-activate as soon as the individual exits the Sanctuary.

The Devil you Know -
Osira is an Evolist who pays homage to all of the Gods of Evolism. She kindly offers little life lessons- Nuggets of wisdom that provide small measures of evolution to others in conversation. More deeply however and much like other Evolism followers, she would like to prove herself to her Gods by achieving something great and earning their recognition. As an extension of her religious practise, she is unafraid to utilise all means available to her.

Nature vs Nurture -
Osira was born on Guldar as a Maquixtl but turned to Katharism after recognising how liberated the Kathar are in their pursuit of their ambitions compared to the Maquixtl. Thus, she places greater stock in diverse powers, magic, strength, knowledge and wit in order to evolve into something more. This puts her at odds with her former community of Floral Court, though understandably this is a burned bridge who she points her sword toward.

Regalian Pride -
Osira is a former member of the Regalian Military. She has an appreciation for the nobility and knights as well as the Empire in general, in addition to being comfortable around them and being an expert on their etiquette. She can usually be found laughing beside a member of the peerage and sharing war stories with other veterans. As a result, she is very much Pro-Regalia and her actions will lend to supporting or improving the Empire wherever the opportunity is provided.

@Anseran I'm bringing this back into review for the following reasons;
If Osira is helping the Draga Ifirti people IC or aligning with them in a way that isn't hostile, they would be made into an exile Cielothar. Because they already have been doing these actions, updates would need to be made to reflect the IC decisions.

Core Proficiency (+5 from Points)|
โ—†| Sword Combat (+5 from Points)|
I will approve this on the stipulations that the character no longer has any combat proficiency and their physical cap limit is imposed to 5. They become physically fragile and incapable of engaging in melee combat as well as lifting objects.

@Caelamus Requesting re-review! Plenty changed.
Remove True Path 1 and replace it with an aesthetic spell only. You have a lot of mechanics that can be used to evade and the removal of true path makes both you and the character consider how to use them a bit more.

@Caelamus Requesting re-review. Osira has been returned to her Circle in character by Aeda'lyn Kee'lyth and is aligning her beliefs with canon Dragon Worship so religious concept has been updated as well as hair colour. Added relationships too.
With how things are still presently written, Osira would still be considered Exeiiya as they are not following Estel's teachings, they are following the Dragon's which runs contrary to Cielothar faith.

I've made a ticket to confirm this. Cielothar who follow Dragon Worship are not made Exeiiya. That phenomenon only occurs when they willingly worship the Void, willingly become Void mutated, or become a Sanguine other than Alais.
Primarily that Exeiiya as a whole are in a strange place currently within lore. I'm aware of the discussion. Despite not having the Exeiiya kit, they still technically fall beneath that category as they still stray away from Estel's teachings and the Cielothar culture and it's way of life. Some considerations for that should be taken into account when portraying the character and the conflict that resides in a dragon worshiping Cielothar. Osira is doing basically the same thing as an Exeiiya would just a different color of paint. Instead of red it's purple.

Religion is a very important aspect to Cielothar culture and differences of faith matter much more, that might not always be the case for the actively played Cielothar, but it is for the ones that exist within canon lore. They are like the Amish and are very cult-like. The upper levels of their society tend to reflect that.

I'll approve the application regardless, but those are some things to bare in mind with portrayal in mind.

โ—†| Osira looks up to the Dragons with the strong belief that they will help to provide answers to the many questions she has about the world.
My only point of review is this; I want to know more about Osira's relationship with the Dragons here.

It feels very contradictory to me that Osira is a Greater Mage with a Frisit-worshiping Geist partner but still regards the Dragons positively or that they'd ever deign to help her; these things are diametrically opposed to everything the Dragons stand for. Is there some facet of her upbringing there? Is she seeking to purify herself in the eyes of the Dragons? Please elaborate here.

As always, mark your edits in red and @tag me when you're done.
