• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Ohai there.

Introduction:
I'm Thorodax, CorrupedApple or Tom1804. Take your pick, though I prefer my real name, Thomas. I'm a 17 year old Englishman who plays Minecraft. I have 4 siblings. 3 sisters, and a brother. In order of age, we have Jade, Michael, Jasmine and Hope. Ranging from age 11 to 1/2. My mother and father, Chery and Benjamin had me when they were both 17 and separated when I was 1, and the moved on to find their own more suitable partners. It's not affected me in the slightest, funnily enough, and I find it rather easy to differentiate. It's also much more fun to learn things from 4 sides of the family, rather than just two. Although it get's difficult around the holidays. "Who am I with for Christmas this year? O.o"

My job here at MassiveCraft is Administrate the server and above all, help the community. I am specifically in the Game department but you can consult me about any other issues or anything in and out of game too. I am a member of the Direction staff and do my work there too. If I'm not doing anything staffy, you'll more than likely see me on teamspeak, or roleplaying around Regalia as the Imperial Prince, Thomas Kade. I am here to make life on the server enjoyable, and help where needed. So yeah, message me in game if you need a hand with anything, make a ticket and don't be shy to use help chat!

Education and work:
I'm a very nerdy person who knows a lot about computers and gaming. I studyed A-Level Mathematics, A-Level Higher Mathematics, A-Level Computing and an IT BTEC Diploma award (worth 2 A-Levels) [An A-Level is an AP for the Americans who don't know what an A-Level is] in college but have since left to go into a world of work and other such adult things which kinda suck.

Most of my life, I've had troubles throughout schooling, I was always the kid who got detentions, or had got told off for not listening. It was never anything violent, or anything aggressive, simply passive disobedience. Well, that was until the end of my second year of secondary school (middle school) where I was kicked out, due to hitting a bully around the face with a lunch tray, because he had picked on me, taunted me and essentially attempted to cause my life hell for several years, dating back through primary school. Sux 2 suck.

Since then, and since I was placed in an alternate learning provision, I lost a lot of weight and I developed better coping techniques for bullying. After I finished my GCSE's (A-C grade) I went on to a regular college, and now, work.

Nowadays I'm working my job and doing stuff for MassiveCraft because hey, Massive is fun. I help out with the local Church's Radio and their podcasts and doing the engineering side of things. It's a lot of fun, and something I do to help out the locals and town to pass time of my own too. I also work with my family. The majority of the males on my Fathers side of the family work in the Construction trade. My father is a Painter/Decorator/Plasterer, my uncle is a Carpenter/Plumber, my other uncle is a grafter, and then there is the other uncle who is.... well, a lorry driver ._. But I work for each of them at a time.

Occasionally I'll go and work with my Grandmother on the family farm called 'Kilmarnock Farm' in Crawley. Go ahead and google it if you want. Oh, and yes. I have horses. Sheep too (@MinecraftSpartan). It's the family farm and many people outside that family are classed as part of the 'Team'. I am not classed as part of the 'Team' of Kilmarnock because I do the Construction and stuff rather than catering the horsies. But I do what I can to help. Fun fun.

Gaming:
I've been gaming for a number of years, starting as an early child playing on the Commodore64, Atari and the N64. I moved on to the Playstation1 and the original Xbox, then to the Playstation 2, 3 and the Xbox360. I've never been a fan of Nintendo Wii or the WiiU.

When I was young, aged 2-3, I would always play the N64, or the Atari at home. I got into games such as Mario, and various others which lead into a line of gaming. Later on, I adopted the Playstation 1, where I would play games such as Spyro, Sonic, CrashBandicoot and GrandTheftAuto (one and two). I then went on to playing games like Halo and DooM on the original Xbox. When the Playstation 2 came out, I saved up all my pocket money and bought it on Christmas Day that year, where I played Simpsons Hit and Run, because that was the only game I had on that day.

All of this gaming led on to me adopting the PC when I was aged 8, where I would play games like Sims, and Ghost Recon. I later went on to playing Call of Duty, or Command and Conqueror. Red Alert was also a good strategy game to play. I then switched back to console gaming, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Playing games like Halo, Assassins Creed, RedDeadRedemption, Call of Duty, Fallout, Skyrim and many others. I'd alternate between PC, and Console, gaming on a week by week basis. I got Minecraft in Inv-Dev and stopped playing, based on boredom. I later returned during Alpha 1.2_0.2 where I connected to Multiplayer and the rest is history.

MassiveCraft:
So, I've been on MassiveCraft for some time now, and in my time I've met a lot of people, who in turn, have become some of my best friends. So, how did it all start? Well, a long time ago, I came to the server with an old friend of mine and I sat around doing nothing for about a month after I applied for staff on my third day. *cough* over enthusiastic* cough*. I popped on Teamspeak and spoke to the staff, got to know them but generally did nothing all day. After said month, I decided to apply to be a staff member again. My application wasn't really looked at, so I applied to become a Forum Moderator. For two more weeks I sat, and basically did nothing, still moderating the forums every now and again. So, once again, I applied to become a staff member, I was accepted and was running around as a Trusted before I knew it. I was a trusted for several months, I did projects left and right, did the server announcements, helped Administrate the forums and started construction on a world, and instance.

A lot of you might not remember me as a Trusted, I was a noob, no doubt, but I continued to play the game. I raided, looted and got involved in many things. Around the start, I was great friends with Valyria and Alamut, the two, previous, strongest factions on the server. I then continued on from moderator, doing helpops and continued to do my own thing. I ended up becoming an Admin without me even knowing it happened. I was at college, doing Math A level and I heard a little 'blip' coming from my phone. I quickly glanced at it, and it was a Text message from MonMarty saying "Lol u iz Admin nao". So that's a nice thing to look back on.

As many have noticed the team was re-evaluated. Due to my work and exams outside of Massivecraft, and just the huge motivational messages I was receiving, I did little to no work for about 2 months, so I was demoted to Trusted. At first I was rather unmotivated and lacked any inspiration to actually attempts to return to my prior position. Including the horde of cheers which were raised as my Yellow name struck global, I was extremely demotivated and considered tying off loose ends and leaving all together. However after a break away, and a nice bacon roll, I decided that really, this was what I needed. I had no Inspiration to actually do anything, as I had nothing to aspire too.

The demotion was probably the best move that could have been taken, as I was motivated to do things, to prove that I'm not as useless as many people state. So I kept working and continued on until I reached the rank of Moderator once again. I ended up leaving the Staff and server for a while due to some outside influence, though eventually returned again. I found it difficult to get back into the swing of things at first. Everything and everyone had changed, it was all new and fresh. I had to prove to everyone I was back for good, that I could achieve what everyone underlyingly wanted from me.

It took some time, but I slowly worked my way up through the ranks to where I am today, back at Admin and working my way on the server again, not allowing demotivation or outside influence knock me from where I was. I've learnt a lot over my 2 years of being staff, and I can't wait to see what the next 2 years bring.

What I like to do:
I love to debate (not flame war style) and I love to joke around with people. Talking to randoms on Teamspeak is brilliant and I very much enjoy talking to people from around the world. I love experiencing Cultural Diversity and actively conversing/gaming with people from different parts of the globe. I love to RP, or PVP in game. Theorizing, or Conceptualizing ideas is fun and I enjoy doing so with people who can uphold a stimulating conversation.

I love music, making music and art in general. I often spend hours upon hours just listening to music and painting/drawing things which I probably will never use. But it's all in good fun anyway.

Here is a Photo, enjoy.
