Backstory/Plothooks:

• Nephelaire is a Novice Gunsmith, with her father working as an artilleryman in the Regalian Army, he recently returned home from the Sendrassian War after serving under General Braunschweiger. He taught her a fair amount of what he knows regarding Black Powder weapons development, and had the chance of observing Puretek Pieces in the field. Though he is not of the Belliard Guild, he has supplied Nephelaire with some small tools required to develop her own crude weaponry for self-defense. Her father is something of a freak inventor, as many Gallovians with a well-supplied shed tend to be. Technicians, Gunsmiths, and Weapons Manufacturers will find a good student in Nephelaire.
• Nephelaire is a Novice Marksman with a good eye. She could even be considered a prodigy in her own right, with technical knowledge but lacking in experience. Only the future will tell if she proves to live up to her latent talents, or if she finds another path for herself. She is open to teachers in all regards.
• Nephelaire greatly admires the Knighthood and aspires to be a Knight herself, though what she is most used to is the fairytale, storybook tellings of Knights from her homeland. Regalian Knights will find an ardent admirer, lest they betray these stories. Even the Darkwald have romanticized stories about their exploits, and she appreciates all Knights for their great heroics and dedication to their causes. Should a Knight take the time with her, they may find an excellent squire under their tutelage.
• Nephelaire is a Unionist, as all of her family has been, as they're from fairly far south in the Gallovian Highlands, from a small province named Lancaster, named after Gavin the Longcaster- a praised fisherman who was said to have organized a defense of their small township against pirates. Nephelaire primarily directs her prayers toward Ness & Eora, Juvin & Glanzia, Neal & Nolven. She can listen to devotees and Celates sing their praises for days on end.
• Nephelaire, after a fairly closed off life in the Highlands longs to see the world. With her father providing her with a small device with which to communicate with him, as well as use of his messenger falcon, he allowed her to set out in the world on an adventure of her own. She travels South first through Anglia, before arriving in Regalia sometime after. She is woefully without employment or a roof over her head, and will be seeking these things, and a comfortable base from which she can explore.
