What's Up?
This is where I'm going to post every song I've written for Massive! They range from lullabies and folk tales, to family anthems, to AU fantasy! The thing they have in common? They're all 100% lore compliant.

Is This a Store?
Sorry, but the short answer is no. I do not ever intend to sell songs in a consistent shop. HOWEVER! I do post auctions sometimes, so if you ever want to be the first to know that there's an auction going up, BE SURE TO FOLLOW THIS THREAD. I will always post links to auctions in this thread before I post them anywhere else.

How Do You Make Your Songs?
All these songs are written and recorded by me, with the specific theme in mind. I like to use lots of symbolism and double-meaning, to make songs very personal. I invite you to peer over the lyrics, which are always in the SoundCloud descriptions, to see what you can pick out! Some of the older songs were recorded on my cell phone or with my laptop mic, but these days I'm using a professional quality microphone and editing music on my laptop. At this time, I'm not sure if my songs will ever use instrumental accompaniment, however I am looking into different ways to play with the idea of it.

Current Works:

Current WIP's: House Lloablen Song

Auction Status:
No Auctions Currently

Show Me What You Got!
I'll list songs below in addition to a short blurb about what they are.

The Newer Songs:
All For Gold! - A humorous party song for the De Termini family
The Hound of Anglia - Harhold Anthem with Anglian propagandist vibes
White Skies - A folk song depicting a postmortem hero
Flowers on Parade - Soft and somber lullaby for House Peirgarten
To the Bitter Snow - Song for House Ulfmaerr
Ever Onward, Stalwart Ram! - Devaud family anthem, bold and militaristic
Honeybee and Walnut Tree - A lullaby sung by a Howlester mother to her children.
Wake me Dragon - A random song inspired by a 1920's AU of Regalia in which a machine, the Dragon Machine, can bring you back to life... for a price.
The Lady of the Knight (Solo Version) (Harmonized Version) - A melancholy piece sung by a woman who is proud of her knighted husband, but misses him while he's away.
Song of an Owl - Glorified (and slightly propaganda-esque) drinking song written for house Ulfmaerr.
The Older Stuff:
The Raven's Call - The Ravenstad Family Anthem
Howl of the Silver Wolves - Coen Family Anthem, done in militaristic style.
Bancroft Family Drinking Song - A tavern-ready drinking song celebrating the Bancroft family
Lullaby Of Virtue - A lullaby or nursery rhyme style song, warning children to beware of the heretical folk we call Silven.
The Noble - A sea shanty about a ship manned by people of all races. (Re-written "Running Down to Cuba")
A Woman from Ithania - A humourous folk song wherein a man expresses his love of a certain type of woman.
To Regalia! - A patriotic folk song.

That's all for now!
Please feel free to stay and chat!

A Word of Gratitude

I wanted to make this post just to say again how thankful I have been for all the encouragement and support of these songs. As of today, the money from songs I've sold has been enough to entirely cover the cost of starting up my own fiber arts business. (More info on that in my fiber arts thread). This means I've been able to completely focus on working from home, with @SupremeCripple . I can't say enough how much I appreciate every kind word and every auction bid. The Massivecraft community has made a tangible, and overwhelmingly significant difference in my life. So thank you guys! Feel free to hang out in this thread and chat it up!

Fun thing of the moment. I'm working on lore compliant dancing in addition to singing, but it involves me recording myself on camera sooo. We'll see how it goes. But by golly, we will one day no longer have people thinking the waltz and tango are appropriate dances for a medieval noble event!!

Really nice stuff, the one about the knight was really cute. Sounds like some pilot for a Disney movie tbh. (In the good way :3)

Tfw you've got two songs to record and the neighbor has been doing yard work all day >.> Can't record with a chainsaw buzzing in the background!

In other news The two songs I'm working on are likely to be done today so expect another auction in the near future. Next day or so. I'm going to post here fifteen minutes before it goes live, since they've been getting bought out rather quickly as of late. So be sure you're watching the thread if you're interested in participating in the next auction! (whenever it may beee)

New Auction going live in FIFTEEN Minutes! I promised I'd post about it here first so that people who follow this thread have a heads up. The auctions have been closing quickly as of late, so if you haven't followed the thread yet, do so now and you'll be alerted with a link when the auction thread goes live. I'll post the link here when it's up.

It's time! To ddddddduel

Newest song :) commissioned by @Mortisian

White Skies: A sort of folk tale depicting a man in a fictional purgatory, where he sails a river and fights off evil forces, all the while writing letters to his living beloved through a journal.

I wanted something that felt repetitive, like the landscape I imagine. Bleak, and endless. I also wanted something sort of melancholy, so not devoid of emotion. Let me know what you guys think :D I also struggled with my new music program on the computer to get the sound quality a bit better.

All the songs I've listened to so far sound absolutely amazing! If you ever decide to add instrumentation to it I'd love to help out!

I've seriously been trying but I'm having trouble adding instruments. I have a crappy little keyboard, some drums, and a guitar as well as a kalimba and a tambourine. I also have a digital instrument pack that's underwhelming. The music just isn't easy for me to make, I get all bogged down and focused on one section then I feel like I can't hear it as a whole anymore. What do you use to make music?

I go to a music specialist college so I have access to all of their equipment but if you're talking recording wise I usually use Logic X Pro but it is extremely expensive although being the exact same thing as Garage Band but a little bit more complicated.

Teach me how to make my own music

I used to love playing with Garage Band but that was ages ago. I have Magix Music Maker and it's pretty bad. Though that could easily be my own incompetence with it. I wish I had like a start to finish guide on where to even begin with building the foundation and working up though. I just get lost before I even begin haha
