When put in context to recent roleplay, the concept of Bone Singing as a Kathar Ability has been closer examined. While in a 1v1 scenario, Bone Singing functions, because the Kathar are now the largest group in the sewers, it became clearer that Bone Singing actually results in really un-fun pain-rp for longer periods of time. Especially since the Kathar could use simple math to disable foes, it meant that Kathar would always win a battle by default as long as they had more members than their foes. This wasn't a good design, so we re-examined the Kathar with the following changes made:

- Removed a lot of disciple sensitive body build/design text that would differentiate the disciples. It essentially means the disciples all inherit their data from the Proficiency Body Build page.
- Added three new "Disciples" which are called Variants which are basically variations on the existing Disciples that changes their game play and underpinning ethics into something very different for each of them with their own micro theme.
- Half-Yanar Half-Wolond mixture of elusive forest mutants.
- Permanent Vampire Kathar with their own unique bloodline.
- Moral good Saivale or "angel Elves".
- Removed Bone Singing as an offensive ability.
- Added a new special Proficiency only accessible to the Kathar called Kathar Ritualism which unlocks a new ability every 6 points invested. Clarified Void Script (and the She'llaq language) to be a non-vernacular language so the confusion is removed.
- 6 points gives the use of Void Script and She'llaq which allows tattooing and ritualistic reciting without any direct abilities yet.
- 12 points grants bone singing which can be used only on Kathar to change their appearance, or loose bones to create furniture/decorations/defences.
- 18 points grants the ability to heal other Kathar with the blood of yet another Kathar acting as a donor.
- 24 points grants the ability to create weapons out of blood from the Kathar Ritualist.
- 30 points allows direct communication with the Arken for the Kathar Ritualist without having to wait for a Hellion Court event.
- Threlwar bond remains the same.
- Added Threlwar Summons which is mostly an aesthetic ability that allows Kathar to choose specific visual mutations defined on a pre-defined list. This only works on Kathar and can only be done by Kathar who have at least 6 points in Ritualism.
