• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

As the title says, allow item drops in K.O.T.H. (King of the hill event).
Lets say KOTH has started, and player A wants to capture it. Okay, he does /tp KOTH and there is KOTH at lets say harbringer or whatever do you spell that name of the map. So player A goes in the blue square to capture, then the player B comes, and starts shooting at him from above with his bumpy bow(Some weird roleplaying item that you get by voting or whatever the way is idk anymore) hitting him away from the square completely reseting the koth. Okay, then Player A finds a way to hide from those bow shots, so he hides, but then the player B comes in with his Bumpy bow or staff of exile and knocks the shi* out of the player A and player A loses control again. Players A says, it's done, I'm going to kill him. He kills him, but whatever, items don't drop and he can still be little cunt like he was before he was killed. Why? Because items don't drop!

Solutions: Since you disabled McMMo inside KOTH, you can disable those idiotic enchants like punch X and so on, or the other option is to simply allow item drops in KOTH so they can actually lose them.

I know so many people who will agree on this and trust me, it is very annoying.

Thanks for reading.

If you enable item drops in KOTH you'll be turning off the players that don't PvP on a regular basis, most players don't go to KOTH for hardcore PvP, it's meant to be a middle ground for all players to enjoy that's something other than your average raid.

My man, there are two options. Am I not allowed to have fun since I'm an pvper? I want to have fun the same way I want others to have. But trust me, this knockback/punch X shit is not funny to anyone. Just imagine, they can't win against you, even when they have numbers, so they decide to use bumpy bow and knock you out all the time and be provocative. It is really retarded..

The whole point of KotH is to allow anyone and everyone an outlet. If item drops are turned on literally only the PvPers will get caps because everyone else will stop coming thus allowing another snowball in collecting of certain items.

You have all of the survival worlds to raid and kill items off of people. I still manage to grab a few god or lore items every week. And I rarely ever raid. You should be able to do same.

Let people PvP with the items they never would in survival. It's fun regardless.

EDIT: We also cannot disable knockback. It is not possible.

Item drops are intentionally disabled in KOTH. You are fighting to cap and get the KOTH rewards, not to get items from other players.

Tired of getting bumped out? Come with friends. Have them assist in guarding/protecting you. Plus, the more people that show up in KOTH at a given time - the more others are encouraged to come participate.

Ultimately the suggestion to enable item drops in KOTH is rejected.
