Journal Of A Sand Traveler

Oh my god I am gushing right now..
*blood pours out of his eyes*
Good job though!
One thing I think you should try out - a Celtic-style portrait

Someone who is amazing at art, who draws homestuck, undertale, star wars, lord of the rings, and whose profile picture looks essentially like the best mayor in the history of forever

You are my hero

Haha, glad you like my art! A Celtic-style portrait seems like an interesting idea :') I do love historical and unique art styles- more recently I've been dabbling in Art Deco/Art Noveau. I could certainly try my hand at something more Celtic inspired.

Can I offer to you a paid commission?
If you are still running of course

I am still going! And I'd be happy to talk about commissions- feel free to message me privately and we can discuss :'D

*Salutes* Always a pleasure to meet someone with similar interests! I'm glad you like my work! :'D

And I agree. WV is the best MAYOr.

Ok, right off the bat I am going to ask for a commission involving my character, Gochnipunchni sitting at a hardwood desk. In green noble wear.

I wasn't around to say it when it was time to say it, but happy new year everyone! I hope you all had fun, safe parties and I wish you good fortune and lots of happiness in the coming year.

To start this year off, here's a little project I've been working on for the past few days, involving my character, Danny!
This is an awesome idea. Do you mind if I steal it a lil' bit to to incorporate some irl friends?
Also, what font(s) did you use for the text?
And what program?
(Ahah. Looks like it's question time.)
Final thing, how did you do the strife specibus? It looks exactly like the ones in the comic o:

Feel welcome to use the idea x'D But I recommend making your own from scratch.
I used Microsoft Paint XP for the actual artwork and whatnot, but I put it together and made the background transparent in Photoshop Elements 6.0 (though I imagine any version of Photoshop will work just fine).

I pixeled the Strife Specibus and Fetch Modi in MS Paint myself- I needed them to be smaller so I couldn't use any of the templates already available x'D Also I feel better about my work if I do it myself.

The large font is a Homestuck font that I downloaded a while back for use in projects like this. It may have been this one, but I don't remember exactly. The smaller font is a default font that comes on most computers, I imagine. Rather appropriately, it's called "Small Fonts" x'D

I wonder what a journey-art style cloth-robed dwarf would look like...

"The Road Goes Ever On"

This was a project with deceptively humble beginnings. When I started, I had no idea it would turn out as it did, and to date, this is among the few pieces I am most proud of. To me, it's a tribute to the years of work I've committed to my craft, and truly reflects how far I've come as an artist.
i would literally hang this on my wall/in my eyelids

Oola is such a tragic character, I felt like she could use a little attention :') So here she is, free and happy and dancing for tons of adoring fans like she always wanted to. She deserves it!

Love this ChairThief.

I absolutely love the charm of forced pixelation - the old school 8 bit sprite thing is so awesome... but I reckon this one Oola piece deserves to be done in Adobe Draw (if you're doing it on a tablet) so that it is vector based and can be enlarged by anyone running Adobe Illustrator with no loss of quality.

I didn't buy it, I only watched a playthrough on YouTube- they didn't actually finish the game though, so I just might get a copy because I'm curious to know what ending I could get!

I just wanted to put a "face" to the protagonist- and a forbidding visage seemed the most appropriate x'D

The soft edges are from a specific brush I like to use for these sorts of lineless projects :') I also used it to make the illustrations for the Halloween video I posted a while back.

I believe this is where I got them :')
