Joules really just wants people to like her. She's an immigrant from Ithania, and is evasive about her past. She is a member of the Hoterie guild, and has been for about twenty years. By her claims, she was raised as a unionist, and converted into the evintarian sect later in life.
Appearance Information
Joules presents as a fem-coded kathar with warm-gray skin, freckles, medium-short wavy or curly hair, average but non-muscular frame, and is shorter than average for Kathar. She has Arkenborn eyes of solid red sclera and golden iris with no visible pupils.

Heritage Mechanics
- Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
- Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
- Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
- Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
- Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.

Life Story / Plot Hooks
This life story is incomplete and skewed based on what lies or truths Joules has told people in character. As more is revealed and made decently public knowledge, her life story will be updated to reflect that.
Joules is a child of an Arken. She doesn't comment on which arken she is the child of. She doesn't think it matters. Her origins can be nebulous at times, but by her claim, she is from the Ithanian city Solamar in Ithania's western territories, close to l'Elvellen.
She is not secretive about being transgender, but she also does not like to talk about her life much pre transition, which is implied to be in the range of 25-30 years ago. There is implication that she grew up in a poor environment, with an absent mother and a workaholic father.
Joules has been a member of the Hoterie Guild for roughly twenty years and has a few friends in the guild who can vouch for her membership if she is questioned. She doesn't see reason to elaborate beyond this.
Joules came to the Regalian Archipelago seeking opportunity about two years ago. She had spent a year and a half in greater Vultaro before travelling to Regalia about six months ago, where she currently resides.
