Oh, right -- introductions.
My name is Greg. I've been playing minecraft off and on for a couple years now. I tend to enjoy spelunking and building things, but having been on the server for a few days, the RP possibilities are growing on me more and more.
In real life I am a grad student and occasional adjunct faculty on the U.S. west coast, meaning I teach a lot and try to write (usually with only limited success). I enjoy computer programming as a hobby, and I would love to get into modding minecraft more (I have done a little in the past) if it weren't for the fact that I really don't like writing Java.
If you see me around in the game (gsmcwhirter), please say hi. Lately I've been hanging out in Daendroc in the jungle, so it may be hard. But visitors are welcome if you can find me.
