• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello everyone, it's me again. I need some more help; but this time, it's for someone else.

You see, just a while ago, a friend of mine from another server, who goes by the username The_Doctor760, has joined the MassiveCraft community. And he completely jumped the gun.

He hasn't as much as glanced at the lore, he completely skipped the tutorials, and he wants his character to be a timelord (he's a big Doctor Who fan; can't you tell?). He's basically a noob here, and he won't listen to me.

It's currently 1:00 am here in Topeka, KS, and he'll be on when it's about 8:30 here. Really need some help with this one. If anyone can give me some advice, please do.

Much appreciated.

With thanks,
Eisen V. Mann

Well for one you cannot force him to do anything. At the end of the day it is his choice. If he is not interested, there is nothing you can do about it. He will play a heavily Lore-incompliant character, and be warned for it.

I agree with Imc here, if he does not wish to learn it from you, he will learn from someone else. Just as life teaches you lessons it can go from soft to hard, and I believe he has the choice of which one he wants to learn, but so far it isn't looking good for him..

He's a good friend of mine, and he wants to be a part of this server. He wants to do all this, but he just doesn't get it. I just need help finding someone to help him.

Him not getting it needs to be solved on his end. Do not spoonfeed him. Refer him to the forums, a lot can be learned there.

Yes, if you do 'spoonfeed' him he will become reliant on you for this server, thus making it, probably, harder for him to adjust independantly into the community. (Ignore my bad spelling.)
