House History
The Von Falkner family originated in New Ceardia in the at that time town of Bachaven. They started off in 187 as a small family writing letters, books, and pamphlets for families in the city. Over the next few decades the Von Falkners built their business up putting money to the side until they could build a small parchment and paper processing building. Their business was named Red Owl Parchment after a pet owl the patriarch owned. Through the next fifty years the family grew, along with their business with more production facilities, around this time the started making deals with the Rorh family for wood to produce their goods. By this time the family had moved from writing for families to producing paper. They had helped the town flourish into a large city. Becoming more prominent and wealthy with their goods being sent out to other nations, and Regalia. They had a large manor built called Birchvale where the family lived and grew for the next few decades until Johann Von Falkner was born when he grew and started his own family he moved them to Regalia. The extended family living in Bachaven running the physical side of the business. Johann at this time made a deal for the Rorh family to supply them exclusively their wood and cotton in exchange for an arranged marriage between his first born son and their daughter. Once the two of the children grew and married Johann passed the rule of the family and business to his son Lukas Erik Von Falkner.
