Originally from Opper Calemberg, the von Dietrich have come a long way, through success' and failures, the House still stands. From their humble beginnings along the Opper Calemberg border, their family got their start as humble smithies, working their way up the ranks and setting themselves apart as masters of their forges. They sold the weapons they crafted to the eager populous, who was still gearing up in their defense of the violent Skagger Hordes. The tensions between the border serving the family well as the purchases of weaponry and armor heightened which tripled the coin in the coffers of the House von Dietrich. With their new found wealth they took to being aristocrats, playing the game of politics as best they could within the complex, mostly Typhonus controlled Calemberg.
Through hard work and effort their success loomed large and for the most part, they were accepted by the harsh, conservative aristocracy. With their business doing well and the game of politics being played in their favor they continued to rise. Knowing that they would never challenge the House Typhonus' rule in Opper Calemberg, they took to the Holy City of Regalia. Through steel and grit they forged their name into the records of the Holy City just as their ancestors had forged a proud legacy back home in Opper Calemberg. Only this success would differ greatly. Now, they were a little fish in a big pond. Surrounded by enemies and faux allies. The Great Houses who had also taken to the Holy City were merciless cut-throats when it came to the game of politics.
Nothing that the young House had done prior had ever been as challenging as this. They moved slowly and took their time. Spending a few months as a patrician before eventually being granted a proper barony back home. This title set a new standard for the young house who was no longer a little aristocratic family or a patrician. Now they were proper nobility. What they did and who they decided to align themselves mattered now. More-so than ever before. After a brief few months the young house succumbed to the pressures of nobility for one reason or another. The death of their long-time patriarch who had not been well liked by their denizens was just the nail in the coffin for the house. They went through a quiet period where von Dietrichs did not have a presence in the Holy City. Left without a barony and without an aristocratic position the noble house all but fell.
Yet, their story has not ended. After the quiet, dark times spent on the side-lines while the rest of nobility went on the House was handed down and made a matriarchy. Now ruled by one Agnesia von Dietrich the scrappy house hopes to bounce back and do what they failed to do before. Hoping to learn from their past mistakes. Through pure grit and determination that defined their families legacy they will do what their ancestors did and work their way back up from nothing. They currently stand a mere wealthy house like many. With aspirations of becoming something far greater now.

Alesian von Dietrich - 22 - Second son of Wilhelm. Focusing on studies and medicine, the intelligent Alesian focuses more on academic thought than war. While some in the family view him as a black sheep, his medical knowledge is still a blessing.
Jolina von Dietrich - 24 - Cousin to Wilhelm. A free-spirited woman, a stark contrast to the traditional women of the family. She takes pleasure in making others happy, and is a light hearted individual.
Judith von Dietrich - 20 - Sister of Agnesia,Kristups, and Alesian, She is a kind hearted girl but at times is obsessed with her inner girly nature, she enjoys showering herself with new dresses and jewels, even if the family is struggling financially she somehow manages to get what she needs. Judith is yet still a well mannered lady, wishing to someday marry a man with good fortune and a good heart.
Edmund von Dietrich - 18 - Youngest son of Wilhelm. Focuses on becoming a knight one day to prove to his father, keeping dear to his heart that every foot step he takes his father is watching him. He is a bright free spirited boy who loves training and helping his family in every step. Being well aware of the struggle they are going through he is never the one to deny helping in any way.

While his father excels in the production of goods and leading military forces, - his heir, Kristups, too focuses on leading military forces and utilizing siege equipment in battles; however, his ability in logistics is lacking. Kristups leads the family's guards and military retinues as a commander, overseen by his father.
Alys von Dietrich - 29 - Daughter of Aston and wife and far cousin to Elien. Alys is a knowledgeable and sweet person with a sharp eye and tends to write as a sideline to her daily activities.
Valtin von Dietrich - 40 - Brother to Wilhelm and Balthier. Harsh guardsman and staunch ailor supremacist. Believing in harsh treatment for criminals, and the enforcement of gender roles in society.
