I go to Spain for 10 days, and my first house on the server is stolen from me, and the Admins don't believe it's mine.

http://forums.massivecraft.com/thre...r-nice-winter-getaway-home.10343/#post-130565

The winner of the bid never paid me, and the house remained mine.
Some random 5 day year old faction took the house and are claiming it's not mine. The admins believe them.

The faction has 5 members, none of which are premium, and is only 5 days old.

This is my house.
I made it last year.

I'm in Spain at the moment, it is my friend @zombiepartyuk who informed me of this.
He tells me the admins can't find my name with HEtool...
I have came to the conclusion that this is possibly because it was a year ago the house was made, and since then Minecraft changed how their name system worked, making everyone have an ID.
I think this is the only reason my name isn't appearing or showing up.

My friend @zombiepartyuk tells me he thinks they took every block placed by me, then replaced it.
I don't see how this could change the HETool of me having placed them once, but again, that may be the 1 year and 1.8 update thing I mentioned before.

@Lizman1000 I need your help here mate.
That old house we made has been stolen, and the admins apparently can't find my name on HETool.
You'll vouch for us creating it last year in October/November, remember?

Should my name not show, there is still a way I can prove the house is not theirs. That they are Lying, and Griefing.

If what Zombieparty says is true, and my name isn't showing, and theirs is. If that is the case then it will say they made it rather recently.

@zombiepartyuk tells me HEtool says the blocks were placed 5 days ago.

The Thread I created attempting to sell the place was taken a year ago.

The thread shows PICTURES of the house. In it's location.
If the blocks were placed 5 days ago, then how do I have pictures from LAST YEAR showing the house?

images

I honestly don't think I've ever made a case this good in my entire life.

@Lizman1000 Should be able to vouch for me here, as he made the roof of the house.
@zombiepartyuk Should be able to vouch for me here, as I showed him the house months ago.

I am in Spain ATM. I won't be able to reply to this until I get back.
Please to not disregard this or come to a final conclusion without allowing me to respond when I get back.
TY.

I'm confused why it was not still claimed. If there was no LWC and thy just claimed over it, I see no issue within the server rules. More info pls

The people who stole that house have now the title of:

Asshats.

I felt like this when my house in Kelmoria was deleted along with the world. But what can you do?

You are ignoring a couple of important points about the subject.

AAI_Miles_Edgeworth_Head_Tap_2_zpsf03323a2.gif

You see, we as a server administration only count ownership of properties by either 2 manners. The first being, faction claim. The only true guaranteed method of claiming ownership over a series of blocks in an arrangement made by the creator, that is recognized by the server officially, is a faction claim. However!
bratworth-crossed(c).gif

We make an exception if a player is unable to claim an area and is not a leader or officer of a faction. If the area is actively used, players may not claim over it or destroy it. In conclusion!
AAI_Young_Miles_Edgeworth_Normal_2.gif

The land was unclaimed. The land was not recently used by a player. If the Hawkeye logs show no activity besides the new owner, it means you have not actively used the land in the past 2 weeks. Our hawkeye logs delete after 2 weeks of information retention, at which point the protection of unclaimed land expires.

You should have claimed the land when you had the chance, or had the area pivated in an agreement with a world staff member before going on holiday.

The one and only <3

What's the faction name? I'll happily raid 'em a couple times. :)

Wait, I am a active officer in jack_the_unseens faction, if there was to be evidence of me opening a chest before they arrived, would the help?

Negative, if you were an officer it would have implied you had the ability to claim the land, but chose not to.

but wouldn't that also imply that it was active used land?

That depends entirely on how the land was used, and whether the staff dealing with the matter deemed it as "not essential activity" Since this isn't a formal staff complaint thread, I'm just going off the assumption that the staff who dealt with the matter made the right judgement call.

@Jack The Unseen

I owe you one for the Kelmoria killing incident,I'll pay my debt by war declaring on this faction. Give me a name, and cords. They shall pay for this.

I feel bad for you man... I give you my full support in this matter! No guy in a red coat wearing a cravat is going to stop this legal team of one!

my thoughts and opinions on this matter are pointless both because I have to leave Massive soon and the fact that I hardly play on the server anyways but I will say this. I doubt these squatters have the means to hold back an invasion, and while I can't supply anything at all to the endeavor I do recommend a full scale invasion of the manor, keep the pressure up until they are willing to pay you to take the house back. Well that's what I have to say.

I am now going to reply to almost everyone.
*Prepares typewriter*

anyone got coords? I want their heads
I will post them for you here, at the bottom of all the replies. :)
Cheers mate :D

Well, they disobeyed the "Do not Grief or Destroy another's creation" rule, as they broke all the blocks, and replaced them to make it look like they made it, when I have hard evidence that it wasn't them.
I don't even care of proving it's mine now. I just want people to know it's not theirs.

Worst of all; that house looks beautiful.
Incredibly kind of you.
If I'm not already, I'm instantly following you for that <3
The people who stole that house have now the title of:

Asshats.
I see no "Objection!"s to that. x3

I felt like this when my house in Kelmoria was deleted along with the world. But what can you do?
Hey, my house in Kelmoria was deleted too. :(
This was my only other one, and only recently did me and a friend go to get it claimed to find it taken from us :(

{{ There is another point a few replies below this one. Just saying so you don't miss it }}
The one and only boot big enough to stomp the little guy.
{An ironic statement in itself}

sprite-gumshoe.gif

Unfortunately, them's the rules.
The rules are that if people clearly attempt to steal another's creation, then they are not liable for punishment?
Rules rnt vry good imo then :(

I remember helping jack build the home, and it was a really pretty home :P
Yup, the roof was entirely your doing :)
Personally my favourite thing about the house.

What's the faction name? I'll happily raid 'em a couple times. :)
but wouldn't that also imply that it was active used land?

Their names will be posted at the bottom of this :)
Cheers

Should've put this -

in there. Would've made you look badass. And cheers for the brilliant point.

Lets just kill the faction and take the house back. Right.. ?
If I could rate "I literally love you" I would.
Friendly shall have to suffice <3

Their names will be posted at the bottom of this :)

Legal by the rules or not, give me the name or location of this faction and my axe can talk some sense into them :)
@Jack The Unseen
Kind of you. Their names will be posted at the bottom of this :)

The respect I have for you at this time is insane.
If I could slow clap without it seeming sarcastic, I would clap.
Cheers mate.

I fear he already has. However, my replies here to Monmarty might be able to change the Judge's mind...
Who is also Monmarty...
Wow, this court's unfair xD

--------------------------------------------------

Now, for the faction whom totally owns this house they clearly built's [[ Severe sarcasm btw ]] name to be shown.

I was going to put all their names here, as well as the faction and info about them.
Then I thought, I'm going to give them a chance.
I'll ask them if I can have my house back.
Act like I have no evidence, nothing. Just a poor soul trying to get their home back.
Should they be decent people, they'll probably leave the home, knowing it is mine.
Should they be bad, they'll claim it was theirs, and that they built it.

If they do the latter, my evidence proves that they certainly did not.
Thus, their names go up for all you lovely bounty hunters.
I've also got a free portal set up for all who want it to use :)

I will make a separate post specifically towards Monmarty, so he doesn't need to read through that.

I was under the impression that it did not matter if I was active in the area.
If I was an active player, then my creations could not be stolen or taken from me. Or Griefed.
As of now, I don't actually care for proving the house is mine. I merely want to prove it's not theirs.
Which I have, as my pictures show they tried to make it look like theirs by replacing all the blocks.
That brings me to...
MY NEXT/BACKUP/SECOND CASE!

phoenix-zoom(b).gif

Why do the blocks say they were placed 5 days ago, if I have evidence showing it's creation a year ago?
If this is true, they would of had to grief another's creation to make it look like that. [IE, they broke the entire house]
Meaning whoever it says placed the blocks, broke the rule against griefing another's creation.
No?
This is also clear proof that they were trying to make it look like they made it, despite it having being made long ago. Meaning they tried to steal it. Had I not had the evidence, they would've been able to act like they owned it all along.

In reply to you saying -
"That depends entirely on how the land was used, and whether the staff dealing with the matter deemed it as "not essential activity" Since this isn't a formal staff complaint thread, I'm just going off the assumption that the staff who dealt with the matter made the right judgement call."

Well, In that case, I'm sure the staff who dealt with it was not shown that chest.
I believe it is essential activity. @zombiepartyuk would've been using those chests for storage of Fish or the likes.
I'm sure you can vouch for this fact here @zombiepartyuk .
Now, this is "IF".
I'm not able to be on atm as I'm on holiday.
But from what Zombieparty tells me, if that chest still has his activity on it, then I'm sure it will count as essential activity. As he was using it as storing and a living area.

Oh wait, wait I've got something!
You are ignoring a couple of important points about the subject.

As you can easily tell from my client, he is an undetectable entity. A creature with a rare power indeed. So this would make it impossible to make contact with anyone in order to secure his lands as his own, I'm not even sure I'm defending this man as I can not even see him. But, we all know for certain that no machine could have detected him as an active player as he would be so far under the radar.

But, we have multiple rabbit squadrons that would testify in this courtroom that my client was the true owner of this structure. Why you may ask rabbits? Well, rabbits seem to be the only form of creature able to detect Jack. Possibly because of their huge ears.

*A woman approaches, and whispers into my ear.*

Uh, my assistant informs me I should not insult a rabbit's large ears...I apologize for that outburst

If you just want to prove the house isn't theirs, then why was this thread made? As far as I'm concerned it currently just exists to slander the server staff and whoever owns it now, which seems exceedingly petty if you actually don't care about it not being seen as "yours".

The whole Ace attorney thing was fun the first time I replied to keep things hearty, but I don't think we should forget about the fact that what I stated in my reply was the absolute and only end user definition and treatment that we accept on the server. There is no way to logic around it, and if there is, then I will modify the regulations to make sure that the continued functioning of land ownership will continue like it has since the dawn of times.

The land passed out of your ownership because either you A. Didn't claim it or B. Didn't bother to ask staff for a special arrangement with regards to land protection. For all intents and purposes I only replied to this thread because you're pulling staff into the equasion.

As much as I respect your word, I have to say this is not to slander the staff. or whoever owns it now.

I did care about it being mine, but I realised I had no way now of being able to say rules were broken, as apparently this is allowed.
So no, it is not "Petty" as I did care when I made this thread, and posted my comments.
I don't now, as I read what you said, and shall not continue to go against it.

I'm sorry for "pulling staff into the equation", I only done so as I thought rules had been broken.

I'm sorry, but that was so unnecessary it's insane >_<
I understand however that it was a joke referring to my Unseen-ness.

Alright in that case, no harm done. If anything, It's at least been made apparent to everyone that you can get an arrangement with the staff to protect land for certain purposes.

Yeah, I didn't even know that. Mathias! (@Green_Hood ) We should build a family home in the wilderness, regularly use it, and get it protected by the laws of the land!
