House Augustyn-Lothringen

The Sigil of House Augustyn
Two large Lions, Lions being the family's Sigil, holding a shield with two of the Family owned LeutzEspee. (shut up i cant be bothered to edit it)
House Augustyn is a noble family of different Human cultures. With their highest roots in Regalian, then Leutz-Vixe and Balltarc, they are an extremely prideful family. Though through the Insanity of Igor, Father of current mainline, they were hidden within a Novilyud culture. Even despite the main line living a savage life, once they were connected to their true past it didn't take them long to adapt. Taking back over the business, current Matriarch Countess Eirain-Augustyn Tjostolf, has kept her family and properties in good hands.

Family history
This family is of mainly Alt-Regalian and Leutz-Vixe descent, only in the more recent generations had the impurity of savage Northerne culture seeped in. In the first generation there was nothing but pure Alt-Regalian. Over the years of marrying children to separate cultures has caused this to dilute heavily, though they are still almost one hundred percent regalian, minus a few bastard children such as Fjola. The family has fallen on financial hardships twice due to drought and poor investments, though to this day they still hold the old wealth hidden away by the more practical of the Augustyn-Tjostolf bloodline.
Only after their opium sails did the family face turmoil from the greed of other family members. After their immense expansion of land owned did they begin to purchase the four plantations that they own to this day from over five generations ago. On these plantations are work slaves, each properly documented. The fur sales began shortly afterwards. Ranging from practical winter coats to fashion pieces, but as the price for fur plummeted throughout west Ithania (their main source of buyers) they began to seek out more profitable and rare furs, which was a good strategical move.
Soon they were able to buy off all other fur trade routes to the most prominent cities in west Ithania, sort of blocking off and straining the Ithanians of their precious furs and thereby increasing the price on cheaper furs, and skyrocketing the rare ones. Though in more recent generations their furs are sold in Regalia and other prominent cities, though very little stores can be found due to the lack of rare creatures found.
Now most of the family live within the South of the Regalian Archipelago. Though the Matriarch and most of her closer siblings have moved to Regalia to re-settle and relax in a more civil place, most of their dealings are taken care of by their main employees. Newest Matriarch Eirain IV of the Alicantes has taken full control of the two family busimesses and works extremely hard to advance herself within the Regalian society, and bettering the past weaknesses of the family businesses.
Brief family History Overview
Recent
Matriarch Eirain searches for a husband of higher wealth as to avoid nulling the family's reputation. Black sheep Fjola constantly causes multiple issues for the family's reputation. The businesses are as good as they were in the 3rd generation before the drought that brought a severe financial crash within the family. All males in the family are enrolled into the Empire's army on demand of Eirain. and the second frigate owned by the family was built.
Properties and Items of mention
Ausaunge du Yvelines
The largest opium plantation owned by the Augustyn-Tjostolf Opium buisness. Very lush and has not failed the house once since it's purchase. Situated in North Ithania
Freudenberger
Lesser known sister farm of Ausaunge, currently extremely controversial under a false slave document accusation. The third plantation rests on the same plot of land as this farming area.
Ruprecht
Currently going through severe land repair due to a small fire outbreak. Most of the crop was saved and sold off, but for now this plantation remains under working progression.
Saint Magdalena (Maggy)
This trade frigate is host to multiple "wounds" and is therefore a tad too damaged for it's original commercial use. It is under contruction and should be up in running in a few months. In times of war it's served as a transport for soldiers and goods, but the cannon holes have never been used.
Lady Felina
The newest pride and joy of Matriarch Eirain, Felina, was commissioned and built by the Haagenvig. Though smaller than Maggy, it is certainly a formidable ship. It is made of stronger material, and therefore it's use of the empire in times of war is certainly a possibility.
