- No heretics to the Faith of Estel | Why: Outside belief systems will undermine the core values and activities of this house and may cause OOC problems. Disregarding this rule will lead to a swift disowning both IC and OOC.
- No outside race marriages and/or courtships. | Why: This lands outside of the values set in place and practiced for centuries by the family, and thus makes no IC sense. Think a noble Ailor raised a certain way, only to marry a Kathar and proclaim them as equals in every way.
- No straying outside of family physical descriptions. | Why: While your character is free to dye their hair or perform other aesthetic adjustments, appearances must remain cohesive. This is so the family may be easily recognized and differentiated from others.
