• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hello, I'm Emmareld.

I'm new and just felt like I should introduce myself like everyone else who joins. :3

I have roleplayed before but more in the way of pen and paper games. Roleplaying on minecraft is completely new to me so I'm looking forward to starting but also nervous since it seems a bit overwhelming and I don't want to ruin anyone's roleplaying experience. Anyways, that's my introduction. lol.
 
Welcome, welcome! Don't worry about ruining the experience. We all start somewhere! If you ever wanna RP I'd totally be down.

Welcome! I haven't been around long myself, but it shouldn't take you long to settle in. The community here is very helpful. It can be a little difficult when you first break into it, but most folks here are fairly receptive to any new RPers and are willing to bring them in. The setting lore can be a bit overwhelming, but don't feel obligated to try and learn it all at once.

Throw me a message on Discord (~Mr. Toastybuns#1655~) if you need any help, and feel free to approach if you see me in Regalia. I'm always happy to have someone new to RP with!

It's nice to know there are other people who are new to this server as well. They do seem really helpful which is nice. I'm glad that they are open to new roleplayers. Yeah, the setting does seem a bit intimidating to try to learn, but I'm going to take it one step at a time and try to learn it as best as possible.

I will, I might throw some messages to those (including you) who have offered me help. Especially since the character creation seems to be a bit overwhelming as well. lol.

It is a bit of a process, but ultimately it's just answering questions. They format the Application template well enough that you can kind of just go through it and answer what they have for each space. The only crunch you have to worry about is with the Proficiencies and Body Type, which isn't difficult if you're used to PnP games. Do bear in mind that they have a WIP section in Character Creation where you can post your app and work on it on your own time.

That being said, also keep in mind that you don't need to have an Approved Character to play on the server. You can come up with a character and jump into the server whenever you want. Having an Approved Character just lets you participate in Progression Events and other things. So don't feel pressured to get one written ASAP.

I think I'll give it a try without the character sheet for now, and just have the basics of my character just to see what it is like, and then when I am more comfortable, I'll probably finish filling out my character template. Thank you so much for the helpful feedback, and advice on some of my worries. I really appreciate the help.
 
@Emmareld I hope you have a wonderful time here. I know when I first joined I was super overwhelmed but I've made a lot of great friends here. Again if you need any help or are looking for someone to roleplay with I'd be willing to do either of those.
