Hello! Just A New Player Wondering How To Start...

Hi! I'm Aslandalion123 (just Aslan), and I really love the look of both the RP server and the community here. I'd never done any type of RP or Factions in Minecraft, but I'd love to know where to start. I have character ideas and I sort of understand Factions in general, but this server is sort of... complex. And huge. The server really does live up to its name, I suppose. Well, I just wanted to say hello and see if anyone would like to give me some tips for getting into this game.
Also, does anyone have any references to draw from in regards to skin design? I've seen some amazing RP skins while touring the server, but I don't know where to find the designs they based them off of. Anyways, thank you and I hope to see you in game!

Most RP (All cannon rp) happens in Regalia. If the RP is your focus, there's no reason to be in the faction worlds. The Massivecraft Wiki is your new girlfriend/boyfriend, and there are skin shops on here to reference, as well as art shops to reference. Good luck!

Okay, thank you! I actually had no idea about the wiki... I guess its time to totally redesign a character.

In terms of a skin you're pretty safe. More or less do one that is medieval or from the Renaissance era.

Just read the wiki, it has a lot of information for people starting out. It's fine if you don't know everything on it, just run through the basics.

The wiki and dynmap are your new best friends, read a lot about Roleplay and every race and try to remember as much as you can, read it all as one large story and then go from there.
