Hello everyone! I just joined last night, and although I have yet to make a character, I'm quite excited to get started. It's been a while since I've joined an RP-- let alone one of this much detail and depth-- so please bear with me while I get the hang of things.

I'm not quite used to the DnD style of RPing (the usage of stats, dice rolls and the like,) but I have some experience from one-shot campaigns I've played in the past. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in no time!

Other factoids about me:
- I've got a 9-5 job at a library
- Perpetually sleepy
- ?????
- 25!

Welcome!

We've all been at that first step into roleplay, and it can be daunting. I am sure you'll fit in great!
If you need any assistance, simply ask one of our lovely Lore staff, or one of our community members! We love new people :)

Also, since you mentioned library job... What's your favorite book?

Thank you kindly! I'm sure I'll come across something down the line, so it's wonderful to know there's an incredibly helpful community here to lend a hand when needed!

As for favorite book? That's a tricky one. I don't have one solid book that really stands out among the rest! However, I'll list a few of my favorites, that just come to mind...

1. Anything by Beatrix Potter (Always enjoyed and loved her classic Children's books)
2. The tale of Despereaux
3. Redwall Abby
4. Miss Ellicot's School for Magically Minded (Not one I've finished, but one I've been enjoying!)

I work in the Children's department, so I spend a majority of my time reading the Junior Fiction. Other than that, cookbooks, and any sort of oddity reference books I might come across. There's one cook book I found that was all edible flower based recipes, and included a type of floral butter. I suppose it would be similar to an herbal butter and would make for a good spread of some kind, but still can't imagine the taste. I get lots of inspiration for world building and development of all sorts through the nooks and crannies of reference.

The dnd style of rolling (for combat) is completely optional so you'll be alright if you can't/don't want to.

Some of them seem pretty interesting, I may check them out. I usually read when travelling but that happens every now and then so.
Anyhow, I hope you'll enjoy your stay! If you see me roaming in /tp roleplay feel free to hit me up for roleplay.
