At the summer festival there is this quest chain thing which as far as I can tell is where a new NPC will appear when you've done a fetch quest for the last one. It is not confirmed to be the quest for the summer festival sword; however I couldn't come up with any other way to get it. At the point I've gotten to right now I'm apparently supposed to look for some captain of some sorts, which I've tried to. I have currently spent over 6 hours searching for this man. I have searched the entire city and balloons and boats and bathhouses and regular houses dozens of times, I've searched the entire island and the water surrounding it. I've tried putting out a bounty for information on this mysterious man to no success. I've tried writing tickets which have all gone unanswered. When i travel through the city I see pink names out the corner of my eyes, I've started hallucinating NPC's off in the distance, yet the only time I've managed to find this mysterious captain has been in the very nightmares I've had about him, in which he mocks my futile attempts at locating him. When I walk through the city it's as if a strong presence is right behind me, laughing at me, whispering in my ear. I'm going to lose it, I can't stand this anymore, this has taken way too long, even if I find him, at what cost will it have been? As my current methodology has brought me no closer to this mysterious individual, I've started taking a more scientific approach.
What you see before you is a top down screenshot of the massivecraft dynmap, at the centres of the circles are the NPC's I've encountered so far, and the circles surrounding them has a radius leading to the next NPC in the chain. The red is the first, blue is the second, green is the third and finally yellow is the fourth. Following this logic, my good friend Philippe should be either out having a picnic at the grassed area I stand in, enjoying a relaxing day at the sauna, or maybe he is even heading to the hot springs. He may also be taking it slow below that comfy leaf place, or maybe he's even feeling adventurous and is on the air balloon or climbed the mountain for his picnic. Lastly, he may also be enjoying the cool stone near the waterfall at the stairs near the beach, or even enjoying a relaxing day at the beach. However, he is nowhere to be found, and every time I go to one of these locations I can feel his mocking aura, as if he just left for another one of them. He whispers into my ear, he says I will never find him, but I know I will. Even if it's the last thing I do I will find him. God knows what I'll do once I do find him. If any of you nice fellows have ANY information pertaining to this bastard of a captain, please let me know. Please, for my sanity, I'm begging you.

I've had a friend test this for me, the NPC's are all there to begin with, but how do you get that bloody sword then? I swear I'm not insane, I purchased it from a shop recently, and here's a screenshot, but how do you get the bloody thing?
